So, oldest DDs European Vacation ;) started off on July 6th and they will fly back to the states on the 31st. Almost over, but, she is having the time of her life...!!! :)
It started in London, then they traveled to Glasgow, Scotland, then by ferry across the Irish Sea to Dublin, then to Ennis, Ireland. Then, it was back to Dublin for a few days before flying to Cologne, Germany for a few more days. They flew back to Dublin from Cologne today and are now staying at a place near the ocean in Brittas Bay, Ireland, south of Dublin.
Wow, what a trip it has been for her...!!!

Walt and I are kindred spirits. :inlove: ;) (By the way, Jack's not a fan of the heat either.) Today is supposed to be brutal--up to 95 and humid. Ugh! Thank goodness I'm on vacation this week so I don't have to deal with commuting to work in this heat. (Most of this week has been o.k. with only one really hot day--but today will be the hottest day of the week here.)

I would think with the times of day you commute the "heat of the day" up where you live wouldn't be a major issue. During the summer here it's usually in the mid to high '70's when we wake up. When I go to open my car door at the end of the day in the office parking lot, it's usually like opening an oven door, and I have to step back for a few seconds before diving in.
Although, this summer it hasn't been as bad.
Seems like public transportation would be mostly optimally conditioned/heated when you got on without having to worry about it.
Anyway, you know me...I mostly love the heat...! ;)

Sympathy like. I hope you can find a good deal or come into some extra money. Good luck

And the drunk fans just got escorted out by the police.
Good! I've seen a few silly people drinking around the world. Nobody loud or obnoxious, just silly. The funniest was a group of you gentlemen wearing shirts with check boxes next to each country. They had checked off a few countries when it started to rain. Guess who didn't use a sharpie and had ink running down their shirts. A small bit of planning would have prevented that, one word Sharpie:D

Ah, yes. I was young, and in love with the boy. Age old story. And so far, working out pretty good.

My family moved around a lot growing up, thanks to my Dad's job in sales, so I have lived in every region except South. The way DH talks, that might change in our retirement years. Started off in Jersey (hi, @figmentfan423 ), moved to California--15 minute drive to DL. Learned how to mini golf right across the street. Back to Jersey (hello, again, Figgy!). Then off to Michigan for a few (I mean 2) years, than on to Wisconsin (hi, @ajrwdwgirl. Hope you are having a great day!) And then, after college, he got a job here first, so per our agreement, I moved here. So, I have had a taste of life in a few places.

And speaking of taste--the peaches I get from R and B Farms at the market are just juice down your chin good! The only ones I have bought from an actual store that I like are the fancy packed ones at Trader Joe's. And you have to get those right away, because they sell out fast.

Wooba! You moved a lot woman! Me, always an Illinoisan though I've tried multiple times from young to change that hahaha!

But Dear Lord, I googled R&B Farms. They are all the way down in Marion. :jawdrop: Last year I did have a box of the Trader Joe ones last year. There is a Trader Joes where my Mom lives so my timing was good. They were yummy. Are they out yet? Sam's carries 3 varieties of Peaches, they too have the fancy packed ones. I'll have to look at the name on the box the next time I'm there.
