There are many that think that as well. I do see where that is a hard one to justify, but, I'd bet that most people don't really want to chew on a big old handful of hay, but, I could be wrong. Lettuce is also a vegetable whereas Tofu is a jelled something made out of soy, probably accidentally formed into an edible thing by a great snake oil salesman, that is neither appetizing or able to satisfy on it's own without some outside addition. I'd also be willing to bet that if you left a big plate of Tofu out in the garden, it would still be there in the morning. :cautious:
I know that I have carried this conversation beyond a point where people will automatically know that I'm just funnin with them. So in case I have already crossed that line, even though you couldn't force feed me Tofu, I don't have a problem with others liking it. Don't understand it, but, I don't have to understand everything.:)

Wow! Ouch! Sorry. :(

Coincidentally I took my bike out for a ride before it reached the 90's this morning. I'm wearing a round neck tank top. I am riding the RiverWalk and a freak'n bee flies down my shirt and stings me in an area that should not be stung! :in pain:

So here I am on the RiverWalk trying to get this thing out of my tank top. I just pray nobody saw this as that would be as painful as the sting.

So I'm going down the street about a half hour ago to talk to my friend who is hauling trimmed branches to the road for pick-up. I walk out the door and a bee flies up the back of my shirt. I'm guessing bright green attracts Bees? Time to change.

I found this... :)

I got quite a scare after all your talk of bees, while out for a walk one of the little buggers kept buzzing around me for quite a while. I made it home unstung but a bit shaken.

When we were at my folks on Monday for the 4th, a wasp kept buzzing us at the table on the back terrace.
I waited, saw my opportunity, swatted it to the tile floor, and squished it.
And no, this time I did not reflexively close my hand and get stung before I took it out...!!! :hilarious:

My dad couldn't give us a lot growing uo but we each got fancy bikes. My youngest sister and I both had these. So classic now. :joyfull:

My Daughters each had one that looked like that as well. Two years apart and it was after the first one outgrew it and the second one inherited it. It wasn't even new. I built it out of two bikes that were junked. They seemed to like it. Being broke sometimes brings nice memories.

Mine was like that but pink with flowers on the seat, it got passed on to one of my cousins. her family had enough to get her a new one but she really liked mine. Glad it got a home where it was loved, she passed it to a neighbor when she got a 10 speed. :joyfull:
