Yes indeed, they are super cute and super crazy.

Enjoy those years and don't blink...it flies by sooo fast...!
Our three kiddos are 24 (DD, will be 25 on July 12 - flew to Ireland just this morning), 23 (DS), and 21 (DD).
We did everything we could with them when we were raising them, so no regrets, but, good golly, those years flew by...!
Fortunately, we all still enjoy being together, and still do so many things together...!!! :)

Thought I'd share our afternoon project with you all. DD got some iron on paper stuff that you cut out a pattern and you can iron it onto a t-shirt. So we got her an adult sized long tshirt that she can wear as a dress and made a heart-shaped Minnie and then put glow in the dark puff paint around the Edge. She's very excited about it!

Waiting for the magical express to take us back to the airport. :( Going home with some free souvenirs.... While walking down Main Street this morning we were taking it nice and easy. The crush of people had other ideas so I side stepped trying to get out of the way and my toe caught the edge of the sidewalk and down I went right near the confectionary. I was so embarrassed and it hurt so bad. I got up and kept walking, but I have some scrapes on one leg and a skinned right knee. So free souvenirs, ouchies.

It could've been worse. And I was able to shake it off after asking on big thunder, but it still aches. I'm just glad I didn't break anything! I joked with hubby later that I should have said something to a cast member and maybe we would have gotten some extra fast passes!:)

Good Tuesday morning everyone! We had a fun long week-end. We went to the mountains, for a surprise quick trip. We hiked, and played putt putt, rented a boat, shopped in Estes Park, and relaxed. Hubby and I used to do that every year. We decided to try doing this again this year. It was great, but wore us out. I'm not used to hiking at 10,000 ft. I hope everyone had a safe and nice holiday. We spent the 4th all day at the kids house, grilling burgers, and an outdoor picnic. We set off fireworks in the street. Good times.:joyfull:

It sounds like you had a great time! I hear Estes park is nice. My sister in law was there with her family yesterday. It looks pretty.

Awesome shirt! Is it just for her or do you have one you can wear with her?

How about you sliced your finger stopping a rogue windmill from crushing a little orphan kid, holding a cute kitten. On their birthdays.
That could work. A friend of mine suggested a Velocisharktor, who was trying to take my children. And my brother thinks I should just get a tatoo to cover the scar...based on the shape, he suggested a minion.

Sympathy like...that sounds like something I would do. Those aren't the kind of souvenirs you want to take home!! At least they were free, unlike a cast or something you have to get treated for. But go for a nice picture frame or mug next time, huh?

Don't worry I bought plenty of the other souvenirs too. I am really glad I didn't have to see a doctor. Our health insurance changed while we were on vacation and I have no info here. I assume it is in my mailbox at home.

Years ago, hubby and I stayed in Estes Park for a few nights, and we also hiked up to the 4th of July Mine in the Roosevelt National Forest. I had been out in Colorado for a week, but still the high altitude of the mine threw me and I got altitude sickness up there. So, hiking down was tough for me (my head felt like it was going to explode from the pressure, and I was also close to fainting). So I know what you mean about hiking at high altitude. I put a link below to where we hiked. It was gorgeous scenery, however.
