The oldest is 8, and then my middle one is 4 almost 5, and my baby is 3.

I think the red stuff was either red saffron or dried peppers of some sort. They were good with the ribs. It did look a little hairy though.
No burger picfor my dh not me. No worries just have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry for no burger pic, I used my regular camera for that. So I do have a pic. You'll just have to wait for my trip report for that.

Not sure why anyone would think that saffron threads are necessary with ribs. Ribs pretty much stand on their own, don't you think. Don't mind me, I'm old and stuck in my ways. Some things just aren't necessary in my mind.

They weren't the typical ribs. They were fried and had a light breading on them. The flavor was like teriyaki blended with Thai chili. So I think the saffron is supposed to enhance the flavor.

I like the sound of the flavors, but the breading I don't know if I'd like that on ribs.

Spent the day in Houston at Wet 'n' Wild SplashTown with DWifey, DS (unfortunately, both DDs had other plans this time), BIL, niece, and one of her friends. Also brought DWifeys aunt along to visit with MIL (she lives with BIL and niece) while we were at the water park.
On our way back to Austin now.
Didn't expect much from this place, but, was impressed. It was large, clean, and had a lot of great attractions. It's no Schlitterbahn, but, it was a great time...!
