I ended up having to send it...she was so obnoxious. First she asked me at the funeral...then she asked my brother at the funeral. Then she reminded me before she LEFT the funeral. Then she called me at mom's house (we were still there) to see if we had dug it out. Then she called again a couple of days later. I moved over here and figured I was done, but she met my aunt and started hounding her at church! I sent it to spare my aunt. And yes...Twit is a good word for her.
Why didn't you just leave out a crucial ingredient. That way she would have her recipe and you would have a good chuckle.

I saw a comment on Twitter from a CM that was holding the sign for the stand-by minutes. He had empathy for the poor kids waiting 3 hours in the hot, humid sun cause their parents thought it was a grand idea. I had to paraphrase that because it needed cleaning up for this forum.
Insane. I have fastpasses for it for both of our Epcot days. I imagine even with that, we'll still have a wait, but hopefully it won't be more than an hour.

I have not been to that one. Nicer than the one that had been in Glenview. I'll put on the list for when we are heading to the North Shore.

One of my favorites is Chicago Pizza and Grinder near the Lincoln Park Zoo.

Over a million people in downtown Cleveland for the Cavs parade today. Too many people for me! My best friend (whose office building is right on the parade route, she can watch down out their windows), she had to be at work three hours early just to make sure she could get in. We're doing the celebration in Akron tomorrow night instead.
My friend there said their office closed today because of it. She said they NEVER close...not even when they had a power outtage, but it's too crazy downtown, so they closed today. She said there were 30,000 people downtown to watch the game and that half the office called out the next day because they had been out so late the night before. Yikes.

I so know that feeling. I think it messed with all of our minds as did Orlando and the musician that started the 3's. They were still looking for the young'n when my Dad passed. Just an awful week. For me it has been too long for the wake for my Dad. We had some real logistic issues that is dragging this out and my Mom is getting really flakey. It has just been a rough few weeks I think for us all.

But planning a trip is always fun...what restaurants will you be taking us to? :hungry:
With all the talk of pizza, I'm hoping the blaze pizza will be open. They have dairy free "cheese". Hubby wants to try Cook's of Dublin. He wants the fish and chips. I'm thinking about trying that too. Or the breaded hamburger. And onion rings. Of course we have to hit Earl's for the holiday sandwich. Now, I'm making myself hungry.

Yep, timing is everything. It was weird being Father's Day but my family rose to the occasion and we kept busy. My son was my Dads favorite though he loved them all. He just never had a son and he was the only grandson so they had a bond. We all just kept jumping from one thing to the next occupying ourselves. Oddly it turned out to be a nice day despite it all. Thank you.
I'm so glad to hear that you made it through. I wanted to say something, as I thought about you. But, I didn't want to bring up tender feelings.

Yup, she's on East 9th, main parade route.

I need one of those. I must be one of a handful of people who pays 50 for a buffet and feels sorry for the restaurant:rolleyes: That's part of the reason we booked a few for our trip, the boys might be full for a few hours. One can always hope LOL
Tie them to the buffet, let them eat until they are ready to burst. That should last them at least 1/2 hour.;)

So my dog had to go to the vet today. Hubby could tell that the ear was bothering him, and the vet said it was a hematoma, (sort of like a cyst), and she drained it. Gave him ear drops for twice a day, and prednisone for twice a day (I assume for a week).

Meanwhile, my dog who's always been a lunatic, is even more crazed now that he's on steroids?! He's running around all wound up and excited. Hope he doesn't keep us awake tonight. :cautious: Oh, and a few times he went to scratch his ear, gives a slight whimper (his ear will hurt until it heals--somehow, he hasn't figured out the connection yet), and then runs upstairs and downstairs. I think he's high. :jawdrop:

Sympathy like.
Poor Jack. I hope he's doing better today, and gets well soon. :)
