Just look for anything they have added the word premium or exclusive. And even the big shots have to admit when they are wrong. They thought people would pay more money for a few rides and lots of pop. That special exclusive event went away, fast.

Indeed!

It does demonstrate finally that there is a line in the sand that patrons draw for what they will shell large sums of money for a family to experience. Guests also have been outspoken to about entertainment over the last couple of years too, remember the Lumberjacks @ Canada and now Jungle. I'm glad the Tree Short is cute and entertaining, good news.

Now those even I could see a value in. They were solid, substantial and non-obtrusive. I like them but either didn't have the money to get one or by the time I did they were no longer available. I don't know for sure because I never asked.

I don't mean the part where they placed it in never, never land, but, the concept itself was a better one then the tombstones.

I agree. They were really nice look when added and the goal was around the bay. I guess I should hike out there again someday to never neverland and take a peek at it again. I'm curious enough to see if Disney even maintains that walkway that heads to nowhere. I recently tripped across the documents, where it was plopped and the cost of the paver stone.

I use the dried chives a lot in the winter. I like to put them in scrambled eggs. I am going to try to dry my own chives this year.

I pick and choose between what I grow, dry and freeze. Chopped Chives at Sam's Club run about $5-great quality and color for
for about 2 ounces which is a 8" tall by 3 1/2" jar. It lasts about a year, those freezed dried little circles go a long way.

I make a pretty good sauerbraten too, I got the recipe out of a Fannie Farmer cookbook I think. I was thinking about making it in a couple weeks. I like the sauerbraten at the Biergarten in Germany at Epcot but I've also had good stuff at the Berghoff in Chicago. Have you ever tried that?

I'm not a big fan of Biergarten as a buffet. We use to go there a couple times a trip when it was a table service sit down and yes, I always ordered the sauerbraten.

I miss Berghoff's original. I haven't been in the Cafe that the Great Granddaughter reopened or the bar. I was sad to see the original restauranat go away since it was family owned for over 100 years. Their sauerbraten was excellent. My favorite that also closed after a very long historical run was Zum Deutschen Eck which was amazing. They closed without warning. Many mourned.

Later today is ours. (I just finished making the potato salad--came out delcious, and I can't stop eating it! Ha!) We're having grilled cheeseburgers, and corn on the cob, also grilled. And potato salad . . . if there's any left! :joyfull:
That is funny. Cheeseburgers for the grill here, too. Great minds think alike!:joyfull: Ours is with pasta salad, as I have never been a fan of potato salad. And the pasta salad has chives from the garden in it!
Corn for tomorrow.

We like to go to Berghoff right after Thanksgiving, or sometimes the day before it. The Christmas decor is beautiful. I usually get the Burger on the menu. :hungry:

It can install quite fast if you do not have a heavy installation (as in lots of programs or data).
But then, I have sorta beefy machine and my data scattered on multiple disks. So it didnt need to move everything to install.

I have no idea how long it took. I feared what was going to go wrong and kicked it out of my room. It was done by morning and took just a bit to polish it off. I have explored to see what I have or possibly loosing anything.

I'm in love with pasta salads too. Mine are vegetarian mostly though I've made a few chicken and tuna ones over the years. :hungry:
Cheeseburgers tomorrow, it was Brat's and dogs today.

Sympathy like. I have a counter top convection oven for just such an emergency. It's also worth it's weight in gold in summer for baking or roasting smaller items when you don't want or need to use the big oven:joyfull: it's also great for holidays when you find the need for just a bit more room in the oven or Sunday in my house:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

I really don't know much about convection ovens. I should learn something I guess about the counter top models. My guess is they are energy efficient and quicker? Does it affect the taste?

Guess I need to add flashlights to our packing list. Our phones don't have the light app. Thanks for the tip!

Spit my coffee. $100 to get into the park and we need flashlights to navigate. Irony. I always keep in my travel cosmetic bag a pen light flashlight. I think they are $2 at Walmart. I have the same ones around the house for when I have problems finding things in closets etc.
The batteries last forever. I think there is one on each dresser here. We have done a couple of power outages at WDW over the couple decades and it has come in handy. One morning over our 2 week Christmas Vacation there was a power outage in the main building at POR and some of the units. No food, worse no coffee.

Good morning it's going to be a great day here for BBQ! 90something and sunny! One of the things not good about it is my dh has to get up soon to fire up the smoker, his idea not mine! Plan A burgers and dogs a nice quick grill session. So seeing we're going with plan B I'm going to get the beans, potatoes and mac and cheese going soon so I have pool time.

Yum. My DD is so excited the waterpark has launched. She has tomorrow off from her regular job but is going to the Waterpark tomorrow instead.

Your BBQ sounds yummy.

I think so for when I went running by everything seemed smooth. There is even a few benches at the end.

Growing up we used to have a convection oven, one that was on the countertop. My parents bought it instead of a microwave because microwaves were so expensive. They wanted something that we could use instead of the oven to heat up food. I remember the food cooked just fine, just like the oven.

@donaldtoo , I've been watching the weather reports showing sections of Texas with very heavy rains and even hail. Is your area still o.k.?

Thanks for askin' Minnie, but, we're fine. We had a few boomers here overnight, but, today it's been partly cloudy, warm-ish, and humid as heck. It's crazy that we have yet to hit a triple digit temp here this year.
Thanks again for askin'...! :)

We just got back from the big mall in south Austin a little while ago. We visited a few jewelry stores to get ideas of what kind of ring DWifey wants to upgrade to in a coupla' years for our 30th wedding anni. Yep, my DWifey is not pretentious, but she does like her some diamonds. And, let's face it, after puttin' up with me all these years, she can have whatever she wants. That center stone will most likely grow a bit between now and then ;), but, she really likes this Vera Wang design we saw at Zales... :)
