I suddenly had a thought...

I'm graduating in December, and we're getting APs for our trip to DL in June...

So what if I grab a friend and go to DL again before my AP expires as a graduation trip? If I don't have to pay for a pass, I can definitely afford the hotel bill just on my own (off property), which would allow for my friend to afford her pass.

Still gotta talk to my friend about it, whether she can afford it, and do some more research, but two DL trips in one year? Yes please.

Oh, it was definitely "pretty" . . . and yet, the layout was also very confusing. I guess for "interest" the designers of the area used more semi-circular routes, versus straight lines. So I kept getting "lost" walking around there. I think they need some sort of actual directory (such as in a regular mall), because if you didn't take specific turns, you'd miss a lot of the stores. Again, the store selection wasn't really my cup of tea, but we all know there are people who love to shop--and I wonder if they'll miss out on some shops because the layout is confusing.

The other issue to keep in mind is the heat index, because this is not a closed-in mall. (At night, it wouldn't be an issue at all.) But in the daytime, with that super hot Florida sun beating down on the concrete, it was really, really hot. Even if I had wanted to shop there, I wouldn't have lasted very long.
I think thats the point, getting you lost in stores so you have to shop XD

Thank you!
It turns out I only needed for my travel agent to confirm my reservation, which they did yesterday very late.
It did let me finally access the "events" area of my account(you login to your Royal Caribbean account, select your reservation, then there is a cruise editor for your dinning , tours and other reservations).
They have the show 3 times in the 7 night itinerary and at 8:30 pm... so selected the second day :>

Thank you again moxo!!

I hope you can do this. If the friend can't go alone. You can do what you want to do.

You only eat on Memorial Day? :cautious:
 What's your problem? I do themed countdowns for holidays and special days and have for two years now. I KNOW what Memorial Day stands for but this thread is NOT supposed to have political nor religious posts. (The Mom has put in a warning more than once.) I did not choose to put a military theme for that reason.

I have the utmost respect for our armed service members. I had a grandfather that was a victim of mustard gas in WW1 and went through life with a permanent sneer. A dear friend was a Viet Nam vet that lost his legs and eventually his life due to Agent Orange. My BIL served in the Gulf War, 2 tours in Afghanistan and 4 in Iraq. He deals daily with his PTSD and after retiring from the Marines has become a life coach to help other vets who suffer PTSD. I currently have a much loved nephew that was recently deployed to Syria. I love them all. Soooo you can save your judgemental :cautious: face for someone else.
