Big family Christmas at my folks begins around 4p-ish this afternoon. Ours tomorrow morning, then back to my folks tomorrow afternoon. I'm sure I'll be poppin' in and out.

Just a half day of work today--yeee haaaaa! Got home around 1:00. Trying not to eat the Christmas candy that I'm putting out tomorrow before our dinner. I should have bought extra so I could munch on some today. There's all kinds of good food in the frig, too, like yummy cheeses, dip, trail mix, etc. I'm not used to being home this early during the work week; all I want to do is eat! (Plus, I'm procrastinating about the fact that I need to vaccuum, tidy up the place, etc.)

Nope Christmas is a free pass to enjoy myself. Especially this year as I was sick over Thanksgiving (my other free pass) and couldn't eat a lot.

Just stopping by briefly to wish everyone a pleasant Christmas Eve. If you're tracking Norad Santa, he's now en route to Antartica. On FXM on tv now (7:55 p.m. eastern time) is A Christmas Carol (1951 version with Alastair Sim--my second favorite version of this classic).

Happy Christmas Eve everybody! We had no rounds to make but the two of us enjoyed a nice meatloaf dinner and are watching Star Wars Rebels. Now if she'll only go to sleep so I can wrap the rest of her presents!

Got here at around 5:30. It has rained pretty much the entire day. So we just went to dinner, walked to the (extremely small) gift shop, and have been chilling in the room. Parents are both still up, but my brother is asleep.

Tomorrow's plan is to enjoy a nice breakfast in the room (Mom is cooking since we have the kitchen), watch the Disney Parks parade per tradition, do some bike riding, and possibly go to the beach for a walk. I wasn't able to bike ride at all in June because I was in PT for my ankle, and the physical therapist said absolutely not, so I'm expecting that this trip, my dad is going to bike me all around this island. And then we'll eat dinner in the room

It's only supposed to be in the mid fifties tomorrow, but then after that it should be in the mid sixties for the rest of our trip. It was 64 today, and if it had not been raining, it would have felt wonderful.

Also, if anyone was wondering, the internet is terrible here.

Actually, I was referring to the physical confrontation between Son #2 and Adopted Son.
The last time I had two 18-year olds duking it out for my attention and approval was in 1985.
Wasn't fun then. Isn't fun now.
