I have a list for them:D All taste tested by me at one point of time or another:D
A list of drinks? Share with the class, please? Actually the one on my bucket list is the Orbiting Oreos at Sci-Fi Dine- In. That's pretty much the sole reason I put that one on my list, though I think the concept is awesome, too, and I want to experience the theming. We aren't really going to eat eat there, though. We're not using a dining plan credit for that. We figure we'll pay out of pocket for that one and just do appetizers and desserts...maybe split an entree if we need a bit more. But really, I just HAD to try the Orbiting Oreos shake, and that is the only place that has it, and they don't have a bar/lounge where I can just get the drink. So it had to go on the list whether we wanted to actually eat there or not. This is the nice thing about handling all the planning myself. I get to just put in whatever I want and everyone else just has to deal with it! MUAHHAHAHAHA....the power of the organizer! Oops...anyone have some polish for my halo? It's looking a bit dull.

Hi, all. I'm still very sick. The bugs today are the pits. Hubby is now coming down with this. Will be back in a day or two. I'm so far behind. I will do ketchup when I can. I miss you all. I can't sit up for long without getting really dizzy, and sick to my stomach. Back to Sierra Mist and Crackers and chicken soup. :(
Sympathy like. Take the time you need. Better to have you back at 100% than to have you at only 50%. Hope you feel better soon!

I would love for someone else to plan a date like that for me! Or a trip. While I enjoy planning, I don't mind giving the reins to someone else. :cat:
I loved it, and it was very sweet....hubby is really good at doing stuff like that for me. I was just tense the whole time. The purse thing really bothered me...that I didn't have it and he wouldn't let me go home to get it because we were on a tight schedule. Now I can look at it and see I didn't NEED my purse...I was fine...nothing bad happened. But in that moment, I panicked a bit. But it was REALLY a nice surprise to just be whisked away for an evening out.

We build 5 emergency days into the calendar. As an example the last day of school is June 3rd and if the schools don't close the Last Day is moved up to May 27th.
I don't think the schools have ever closed here...but back home, they built in days that the kids would have vacation unless they needed to make up a snow day. So like...in April, they would have "spring break", which was only a 4 day weekend, but if they had closed school in February for a day or two, they would have to go to school instead of having spring break. And if they had snow days to make up AFTER the spring break, then they have to make them up at the end of the year, so school would get out later.

My husband seems to like "kidnapping" dates, I usually like to know what it going on, but he likes to surprise me with a date (usually to a hockey game.) The first time he pulled the "kidnapping" date, he took me to the the ballet to see the Nutcracker (a long time dream of mine to see it in person), and then at the end of the night he proposed!
Awwww....that's so sweet!!
