You must have gotten all the good luck...nothing left over for me. Our new dishwasher was coming today, so I wanted to pull out the old one and clean behind/under it, since it leaked. So I pull it out (while another repairman was replacing a defective part in our water heater, which broke about the same time as the old dishwasher) and I hear a pop. The plug was MELTED to the back of the dishwasher...I have NO idea how that even happens, but it did, so when I pulled the old dishwasher out from the wall, it ripped the whole outlet out of the wall. I took pics and sent them to hubby and he ended up having to come home from work to fix it because I didn't know how to unhook all the stuff to get the dishwasher out of the way so I could get under there to fix it. Not exactly how either of us wanted to spend our morning, but he got it fixed, I got everything cleaned up, and they just brought our new dishwasher and hooked it up. So I'll be able to do dishes in 10 minutes. But the morning was less than satisfactory. Afternoon is good though....everything is fixed now. YAY!
I'm so sorry you had a bad morning, I am happy that everything worked out. The only reason the boys did such a good job is today was our most important ADR day. The next 2 have no ADRs so I'm hoping I don't wake up to a big mess.:cautious::rolleyes::banghead:

The 5k sounds like so much fun. Can't wait to see all of you in the tutus, but seriously how far in advance did you have to sign up? What's involved in doing one. from your posts I guess you don't have to be a serious runner am I correct? I might be able to convince my dh to add an extra trip for one. I meant to say I'd do the 5k and he'd explore the inside of his eyelids on a bench :confused:THNX

Hahaaa...!
I don't remember exactly how far in advance it was, but, I think it opened up about 6 mo. in advance, kinda' like ADRs.
All I know is that it was on a weekday, 'cause I was here at the office, and 5 of us were on different computers at the same time trying to make sure we all got registered before all the slots were taken.
And, no, you definitely don't have to be a serious runner, but, you do need to keep at least a 16 min. mile pace, or they'll pick you up off the course and take you to the finish line. Hopefully, my feet stay fine, and I'm not one of those lucky ones in a coupla' weeks... ;)
We're all really looking forward to it...! :)

BTW, good luck with your DH...! ;) :)

ETA: I'll check with DWifey next time I talk to her, or tonight, about how far in advance we actually had to register. :)

Right now, since the kitchen is being remodelled, the dining room is being used for storage. The doors are closed and rubber banded shut so the cat can't get in. Well, a while ago, I started wondering where the cat was. And I found that little twit in the dining room. She found her way in...and couldn't get out.
Curiosity almost killed the cat.
I wonder.. how the hell she managed to get in?

I've never gotten a moving violation:joyfull: 3 or 4 parking tickets:(

Yea, I got a few of those over 30 years ago down around the UT campus when my buddy came down from the Northeast to go there. But, the last 2 years he was here we were roommates so I had no problems 'cause we had stickers for our apartment complex.
I think those parking tickets were only about $5 way back when. :cyclops:
