I'm so sorry, having a blood draw is not fun. Sounds like your Dr. office has a real problem. I've noticed our Dr. office is having a lot of turn over in personnel. I hope you are feeling much better.

Actually, I've never had a problem with blood draws or IVs. Those things just don't bother me.

Nope this is actually my first year in a community college. I just graduated High School last summer. So far I'm taking political science this year. I actually take community college for two years since I started going there last September. This is my second semester so far and I only have classes on Tuesday,Thursday and Friday.

My Sis was a Political Science major and really enjoyed it. She went onto law school after that. Enjoy, I loved college, can't say I liked my time in school before that. My time at my University was just such a great life experience.

You would go to the drive through , make your order and it was delivered down a chute, much like the banks. But you never saw anyone. Just a "thank you for your order". And drive out. I loved it. I guess no one else did, it went out of business quickly. Very fast and efficient. Of course you had to pay by a chute.

Wow! I'm certain I never experienced that. But by the time my town I spent most of my childhood in got its McDonalds I was out on my own. If they would not allow a McDs in town, or liquior in its stores, hotels or restaurants it certainly wouldn't allow for food by shoot. Sounded like a great idea though.

My folks were not really into fast food so we didn't experience much at all the entire time we grew up. Here and there a pizza. But my Mom was a big fan of sweets. Sara Lee, well she was always in our home.

In my travels around Europe it was a common thing. Almost every major tourist attraction, no matter how minor, had bag x-rays. Around the Vatican there were armed troops covering all entrances as well and x-ray and metal detectors that we had to walk through. Every time we boarded our Cruise Ship on the way home we had the same thing. X-ray and metal detector. BTW, this was a number of days before the attack on Paris.

Isnt this common in all cruises?
The Wonder had 4 machines running in every port during my Alaska trip.
Including one big baggage sensor system (similar to the airport transfer bag sensors)

I find it interesting, because it looks like a giant ripoff of Magic Kingdom, mixed with epcot (the land ) and with a bit of "mall of america" mixed in.

That brings back memories!! My mother used to buy those (I never buy frozen desserts, except for ice cream). When I was a kid, my eldest brother would comment about my mother's frozen food selections. He pointed out that they all had comforting, down-home, names to them such as Sara Lee, Mrs. Smith's, Mrs. Paul's, or Marie Callendar. Years later, when he was out living on his own, he would only buy frozen food that had a Mrs. or a nice lady's first name on the package! True story! HA!

Me too.....so excited! I'm so glad I did so much research this time. There are so many fun experiences we've not had because we didn't know about them!! I can't wait to get to do all the fun stuff!

Sooo a man was arrested today entering Disneyland Paris with two handguns and catridges of ammo.

And they let his wife go, apparently. The news here this morning said he told them he was afraid, and that's why he brought in the guns. They were looking for his wife now.

Yep, it was a case of misidentification. But that seems fishy to me....he only wants to protect himself, so he brings a large amount of ammo with him, and his wife/partner disappears and can't be found?
