Good morning peeps! The roads are finally clear so I'm not going to be here most of the day, I've got people to see and things to do. First up the mall, the library and then grab a few items at the grocery store. Tomorrow may be yucky 3rd Saturday in a row. Tomorrow is tie dye and then jammies and our Potterthon.

Yes, that's why my lawyer filed for ex parte relief (scheduled on 1/21) for a temporary parenting plan, appoint minor's counsel, and an order shortening time on request for order set for 3/7/16 and for the minor not to be removed from the family residence. Keeping my fingers crossed!!
Good luck I hope he gets everything he deserves! And I mean everything!:D

More drama over here at the fun house. Appliances were scheduled to be delivered today, which I told Mr. Donkey, who said yesterday it was OK for the delivery people to move the ones he's taking into the garage. This morning he tells me to move my car because it may get scratched (while he's putting stuff into his van) and of course I get snarky with him. Seriously, though, why would my car possibly get scratched when our driveway is big enough to hold 3 cars across??? Because of that, he told me he would not allow the delivery people to touch "his" appliances (I had to point out they're still community property) for fear of them damaging them. Next thing I know he's saying he'll call the police if anyone touches him, he's recording the entire interaction with the delivery people, he's telling them we're in the middle of a divorce, and I know they're just thinking we're a couple of nut cases.

On top of that, now he's telling me that I will only have our daughter from Sat morning to Mon morning and he'll have her the rest of the time. Over my dead body!!!

Oh, and he may not be moving out this Sunday. Apparently that date wasn't actually the move date (even though his email says it is) - it's the date when he'll have all his "inside items" moved out. He won't be officially moved out until his "outside items" are moved as well. Isn't it lovely how he can just change his mind on a whim? :banghead:

Sheesh can't think of a word that i can post here that describes him :devilish:

DD was 6 for me. Although I put out three outfits and she got to pick. Second grade she knew what went together!
I've always given DD a choice since she was about 2 or 3. Now they both pick their own clothes and I will tell them to change if it's not weather appropriate. But they are pretty good about it. My mom didn't let me pick out my own clothes until high school and even then she wouldn't let me just buy what I wanted. I remember in 7th grade, first day of school, she wouldn't let me wear jeans. It was either a dress or slacks and I told her I'd get laughed at, but she wanted me to make a good impression on my teachers. So embarrassing. I wasn't allowed to peg my jeans or rat my bangs, etc. I always said my kids get to pick their own clothes as long as it's decent. I won't mess with their styles.

I will be so upset when Patrick Stewart and Morgan Freeman die. Two of my absolute favorites. But I love a lot of the others you list, too.

Sorry, but I won't be very sad when Arnold goes. Remember he was governor of our state. :banghead:
The one I'm dreading is Maggie Smith. I know she had cancer during HP filming and she's looking older all the time, but she's still fantastic. I'll be so sad when she's gone.

Wow! I know you've mentioned this before but it is still surprising to hear of this attitude. I know many men of a certain generation had opinions like these, which is why I wouldn't have gotten along with men like these.
Yeah, I didn't like my dad very much for a LONG time. Now I'm older I realize he is a product of his environment and that was very much the attitude of his age group in Wyoming. When he starts to talk about things like that, I turn off and tune him out.

Boys are nowhere as picky as girls. As long as they get to pick the clothes at the store what to wear on which day isn't so important after the first week. Clothes just seem to go into a rotation based on the weather.
