We are doing BOG and Prime Time, thinking about DTD for some of our meals. I want to check out Jock Lindsey's bar, and perhaps the Boat House, if we can get in. Thanks for reminding me, we need to finish up our reservations. The holidays, have gotten me side tracked! How could I have forgotten.

Remember Boathouse Bar has a menu too along with the seafood bar if you can't get in.

No huge loss. It's been hit or miss in my experience. I was glad because I went to make a reservation for my brother and me in DHS when my parents are at Yachtsman, and I could only get Mama Melrose's, so I took it, but kept trying for SciFi, and finally got SciFi, which has been consistently a hit recently (plus it's a good spot to take my brother because we don't really have to talk to each other...). Now I'm trying to get in earlier so that we can catch the fireworks (although we still might be able to get out right when fireworks start at this point).

Maybe I will give SciFi a try again. It has been on my NEVER again list for a very long time.

But that doesn't make sense to me, really because I'm a normal every day person and apple is not user friendly for me. I have a really hard time using apple products.

I have no trouble with iPads and iPhones (my friend brought me her iPhone when it was having an issue last week; I figured it out). I tried to run a PowerPoint on a Mac last year. That was a complete and totally epic FAIL. Only PCs for me!

And if you get there right when it opens, I'm sure you'll be seated right away. At least that's how it was when I was there in July.

My iPhone has been glitchy since the latest update. I've powered up and down more times in the last month than I had the entire time I owned it. It also has so many things you need to opt out of now that are very stalker-ish and data eaters.

It's better than DTD Rainforest. We have had little luck with the food there. The Rainforest in Animal Kingdom is so much better!

We have several Rainforests up this way so never on the bucket list for Disney. I do like Landry's restaurants though. There food is generally pretty darn good and not ridiculously overpriced.

Reminds me of these Asian guys naming their kids silly things like "Clark Kent Wang" or "Megatron Asami" (these kids will be bullied for years) :/

I avoided naming my children odd names, weirdly spelled, dated family names, in memory of anyone for that and other reasons. A name should never be a burden IMO. I've always been in the camp if you loved uncle that much and want to honor uncle, change your own name to that, the newborn has no say. I fixed my name when I was married, it is free to legally change then. Way too annoying to have a strange spelling of your name and it was always being questioned or spelled wrong.

I am fine with Uni, I'm not staying at Uni's hotels.. its the Doubletree at hilton I'm having problems with.

Don't forget to eat their chocolate chip cookies!

We did Mama Melrose before going to fantasmic and thought that it was pretty good....

I havent tried Mama Melrose's.. so gonna try this time!!

Isn't Mama's one of the restaurants rumored to get flattened for the Studio expansion/do-over? Or am I thinking of the wrong restaurant?

I think so, others say that Prime Times going to get remodeled as well.

I hope they get moved elsewhere as they are supposedly good. Specially Prime Time.

The one place I want to eat but will not have time for is Ragland Road. Too many other places to try in DTD We are going to try all 4 park sit down in UNI, 3 broomsticks and Cowfish

That is too bad about Raglan, it is really good. It is on my list of places to eat but we also might bump it for a place we have never been to before.
