I love the village too. It's fun to check out the shops and have good eats, and hot butter rum. When it's well below zero.I've skied there exactly once, but I've been to the village a lot. It's nice.
Wow! I think of a mysterious story to go with this picture.
Wonderful picture as I sit here very cloudy sky's. I'm going to take another look!
I lost interest when he was killed off.Yeah, except when they killed Luke Skywalker. That was so sad....
It didn't turn out as we expected.....it was an hour drive , that turned into a two hour drive....two lights not working in downtown Denver.....took for ever to get through those....then on to the zoo, still hope full at this point......another hour to wait on the street to get on the road to the zoo, another 45 minutes to get to the parking lot....all full, went through the lot 6 times, no places to park. We were tired and defeated by this point. Another two hours home, as the stop lights weren't fixed. We did see some nice home displays so it wasn't a total loss. How fun is that! I'm sure you had a great time. I love events like this.
Every count down to the New Year gets me....life goes so fast!holy carp.. already 6??? D:
time flies!!
So glad Disney is worked out for you. I hope you get the hotel resolved, and you have a fabulous time!the hotel is still not resolved.. thankfully all disney seems safe and no errors so far.
That's was hubby's experience, when he couldn't stop and ended up knocking down every ski in the rack at Vail!lots of flailing involved?
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this, it must have been a devastating loss.Still perfect except where my German Shepard puppy chewed through the cord and electrocuted herself. She never chewed a cord again.
It didn't turn out as expected....I posted earlier....it was crazy at the least. That sound like so much fun! I hope is was!!!!!!!!!!!
I so wish I could say that, @MinnieM123 would love our weather. We are expecting snow on Christmas eve and Christmas morning. We need a sleigh out here! (And horses), don't think my HOA would approve!Good morning. I hope all of you are merry! I'm also hoping my shivering has led to a smile or 10 for @MinnieM123 it's only the 3rd morning with a hard freeze, not bad for Christmas week.
So funny to hear this, hubby found these at a health food grocery and brought them home. I think they so great, it's an amazing find. (I've already consumed 1/4 of the bag , not in cookies!@MR FERRET and @MouseDreaming I finally did it. I earned my Beverly title as I made a gf/df/sugar free version of the magic cookie bar and the boys loved them. The hard part was finding a substitute for the sweetened condensed milk. I did it with soy milk, stevia and a bit of arrowroot powder. @betty rose I used Lily's df/gf/sf chocolate chips and they're really good. Not exactly cheap but very yummy.
It's been 1:30 AM for me. And I've been having dreams about all my family that has passed (nightmares, really). So annoying.I've been waking hours before the Sun has come up the last 3 days. Annoying.
I have a love, hate for Christmas. I love decorating, making food for the day. I hate crowds, and the rush or perception of rush for the season. I love spending time with the kids, we do a puzzle, watch the Christmas shows and listen to Christmas music. No more going to see the zoo light's for us. I posted earlier about our experience this year. The Grinch stole our experience this year.I almost never have a Christmas tree. I always go to their homes and since my apartment is small, there isn't a lot of room to entertain, especially with small ones and early teens there is no real need to put one up. Besides, I hate Christmas or, at least, the Christmas season. It seems to bring out the worst in everyone. My dislike started years ago when I had jobs in businesses that were "against the wall" busy during that season. Long hours, little rest, dealing with grumpy people, etc.
Now I enjoy immensely my time with my family on Christmas itself, but, the rest of the time I get nothing from it and pretty much cannot wait until it's over. As a religious holiday, it's fine. As a commercial one, it sucks big time. OK, that's my true confession for the year. Hopefully, it didn't offend anyone as it is my personal feel based on my experiences. I am glad for people that get a lot out of the season, just not me.
I get two out of three. Pepper and hot sauce, can go into a recipe...hand sanitizer....not so much! And have you?
At least he is past the diaper stage! But isn't that what makes you fun?
Thanks, I would love to make a new blanket . I'm going to check this out, and see if I can get the concept! There are youtube videos for that if you wanted to get back into it. That's how I learned. I've since forgotten, but I know it's there if I ever take it up again.
