Good morning and happy Sunday. Going out to finish up getting food for the week and cookie making items. The cookie making list is very short this rear! My dh got on the scale and let's just say he not very happy so it's only going to be 2 regular batches of cookies (Peanut butter chocolate chip and MM cookies) and 2 for my baby and me(Lemon shortbread and chocolate chip) At least it's going to be beautiful today 70 degrees and sunny. My type of weather this time of year!

Wow, it's warmer out there than here! Only 60 right now. And all those cookies sound yummy - can I place my order now? :p

Hi everyone. Time to play ketchup! I have been away longer than I anticipated. We had such a busy weekend.

My mom is visiting. We went to the tree farm yesterday and cut down our Xmas tree. It has been up...unfurling...and is ready to decorate. So that's what's up for tonight.

Went to see Love the Coopers yesterday and I thought it was great.

I have no idea what his plan is. With my mom's help we were going to offer a pretty large payout just to get the divorce done quickly but his attitude didn't change plus he demanded Right of First Refusal which is if the custodial parent is unavailable to care for the child, the other parent gets first opportunity to care for the child. He wanted the time limit to be 3 hours which is ridiculous and most judges would make it overnight. He also balked at the child support stipulation we added that said if either parent decided to go to court for child support that parent would be responsible for the other's attorney fees. The fact that it's a problem for him indicates he was going to take our money and turn right around to take me to court for child support. So a payout is no longer on the table.

My lawyer wants him out as much as I do, so we served him with a 60-day eviction notice last week. If he's not out by then we obtain an unlawful detainer and then the sheriff will make him move out. Hopefully he'll get smart and leave voluntarily, though.

Ignore my last question. I thought you were letting him live there, not that he refused to leave. Sounds like there is something really wrong with him.

Does he not have a job? Is he going to be there forever? You are very generous.

Dear Lord, I hope he's not going to be here forever! He's a self-employed DJ, but not the fancy one who plays at huge festivals, the kind who does weddings, corporate events, etc. And while he has made a decent living of it, his problem is he's not really good with finances. He spends way more than he should, and so his net profits are lower than average at best.

Thank you for the compliment, but it's not out of generosity that he's able to stay here. The main reason was because when I had mentioned him moving out at the beginning of the divorce process, he said in front of our daughter that I was "kicking them both out", so I backed off. But now that the 6-month waiting period is up, and if he tries to pull that carp again, the court will not look kindly on him doing so. As her parents, we are not supposed to be badmouthing each other in front of her, although that has not stopped him before.
