depends on the recipe, in Mexico you fry them in oil and then served with coconut sauce.
My stomach is gurgling now - still about 90 minutes until lunchtime!

Why?
I threw my iron away when hubby retired!![]()
So glad you had a nice time. Sorry about the trip home.
Besides the bad weather, it sounds like a fabulous evening!
As @MinnieM123 would say, "absolutely gorgeous!"![]()
My directions are for baking not frying. I don't fry many things, healthier, less calories and the oven heats the house saving me firewood.
And it's not egg batter for me, just plain whisked egg.
hu no.. mole poblano has no milk, its very dense and its served along with chicken.
one is a drink, the other is a dish.
Plus the chiles are different.

Coldplay is one of my "no thank you" bands. Why?
This makes me think of The Polar Express and the quote by the Know-It-All boy, "You know Montezuma, the king of the Aztecs, would drink fifty quarts of hot chocolate every day. It was thick as mud and red. He put chili pepper in instead of sugar. Get it? Hot chocolate?"I didn't make it up, I swear. There are lots of sources that report the chili chocolate connection and Mexico. I don't really have a lot of time to research this at the moment but here's a brief excerpt from the History Channel.

Me too.I kinda like the tacky plates.
so am I, I'm just explaining the reason of why many times the images do not show.
@donaldtoo has had this issue a few times.. where he "embeeds" or "hot links" the image urls, and they do not load in the forum.

thats the correct way.I haven't seemed to have had that problem, lately.
From my desktop at the office, I bring up the image I want with a left click. Then, I left click on it again to bring it up in a different window. Then, I simply right click on the image and choose copy, go back to my post, put the cursor were I want it, then right click and choose paste. Done.
From my iPhone, I tap the image to bring it up, then tap it again to bring it up in a different window. Then, I hold my finger down on the image until "save image", "copy", "cancel" comes up. I choose "save image" to save it to my photo album. Then, I go back to my post and go the "Upload a file" route. Done.
Works with all the GIFs I've tried too.
Simple as pie...!!!![]()

the first attempts, I remember you copied the entire website code and that made the images to fail.
also, wanted to apologize for my prior outburst.
didnt help that my government owned gas/oil company (PEMEX) recently opened a store in Austin and Houston.
And the price per litre was 40% cheaper than in Mexico..
In a country where the labour is 2X higher.
Which means they're outright stealing Mexicans money to subsidize the Mex government corruption.![]()
