Yes, but, more senseless tree slaughters. ;)
There is a difference between paper bags and plastic. Trees are a renewable resource, plastic bags are made from non-renewable materials and take close to forever to biodegrade. We cannot just abandon all of the accomplishments and conveniences of the centuries unless all our clothing has thousands of pockets, which also takes resources to make. It is easy to get carried away with the protection of nature. Trees are nice, but, they shouldn't just be there to look at, if they are replaceable. (yea, I know all about the Carbon Dioxide to Oxygen angle, thus the renew-ability aspect.) Along that line, where are all the people that are upset about the slaughter of trees that we hang lights and shiny objects on just to celebrate one holiday. We have to apply some common sense in our choices.

Too funny!!! :joyfull:
I actually almost kinda' went were you did in my original post, but, it was gettin' late, and I just wanted to give a silly hypothetical "Green Disney" answer...! :hilarious: They always touted their "Greeness" ;) while I was a CM there. :cyclops:
Anyway, yes, the fact that trees are a renewable resource was also gonna' be one of my points... :cautious:

I love the carousel, it has always been my favorite in Magic Kingdom. It's so hard to pick the horse, as I think they are all beautiful!

Next time you go to ride the carousel at MK, make sure to choose the horse in the middle row with the purple/lavender flowers on it's mane, and a gold ribbon on it's tail...that's Cinderella's horse. :)
I found 2 images online, but, it wouldn't let me copy them, just the links to them.

But don't forget, you need to use nonrenewable resources to get from tree to paper bag. It is not just the end product that you have to worry about but the process too.

You are right, though, no matter what we do we will cause some amount of harm. The goal is to minimize it.

Also, live trees are much better than artificial in terms of the environment.

And after saying all that, I do believe the comment about the slaughter of innocent trees was a joke.

Yep, I remember some old friends of ours, when they started their family, using cloth diapers instead of disposables so as not to clog the landfills. Then I brought up the fact of how much more water they were gonna' be using, detergent they were gonna' be putting into the wastewater system, etc.
Yep, just like so many things in life, ya' gotta' kinda' try to think about all aspects. ;) :)

Hah! I had that intention at first as well, but then discovered I had no energy to wash. But at least I bought more "environmentally-friendly" disposables - now there's an oxymoron, right? :p

I love that man. Even though I thought he was nuts getting together with Calista.
My favorite was when he kept getting asked if he was in the new Star Wars and he just kind of blew off the question. He was on a talk show once with Benedict Cumberbatch and he goes, "I dunno, am I in it?" and then he turns to Cumberbatch and says, "Are you in it?" and then they kept it going for a while. It was funny.

I think I saw that - it was Graham Norton's show, right?

I have a funny story relating to going and sitting in the car, before continuing to the kids house. It was after dark and hubby and I were talking away, not paying any attention. All of a sudden, two people opened the back doors of the car and got in. I thought we were being robbed or something, I turned around and screamed, and the older kids screamed too...They had got into the wrong car!:joyfull::eek: We now, always make sure all doors are locked when we just sit in the car. Lesson learned!:hilarious:
something similar to that happened to me and my father. We lived in a close condo with private security. It was very safe.
Since most people knew each other and the more than 90% of the condos were occupied by permanent residents (unlike other condos, where the majority were for rent).
I was helping my father use the computer and we were in my room.
Then suddenly 2 girls enter like nothing, say hi to me and my dad..
we were shocked and wondering WHO THE HECK THEY they where..
Then suddenly they walk very fast towards the door laughing and blushing trying to hide their faces..
they had entered the wrong apartment (wrong floor).

Which is pretty normal error for people who were there for the first time. (the condos were a bit elevated, and it goes as PB, Floor 2, Floor 3, Floor 4, Floor 5) but PB looked like floor 1 (the "real" floor level being the parking lot).
