But but but you are a gentleman. ;) I tend to use the term you guys a great deal but things have changed a bit more to my liking since we were young so I tend not to be annoyed by the masquelin form of being addressed anymore. With @Cesar R M I rarely do 'cause I generally understand what he is trying to say even when wording is slightly jumbled, I get the point. I'll take his English over my Spanish anyday.

Still some strange things linger on, are you Miss, Mrs or Ms - guys don't get that question they get a box for Mister. Are you taking his name or keeping yours question. I don't have one friend that the guy took her name. The world has come a long way since women were referred to as a fireman, a policeman, a mailman, chairman, foreman, journeyman - hundreds of them have been update over the years. So I am old enough to understand the 'foul' of referring to both men and women as gentlemen. Though in this case I did understand and also got the reference.

Yep, as I said, ultimately I don't give a flip. I also got the reference, of course. I was just trying to help him with the language barrier a bit.
He could have also said, hermanos y hermanas. ;)

I like the color and it looks really good for travel. It's probably not a coat you'd wear in zero temps, but I could see it for wearing a decent amount of the year, though. :) We can never have enough jackets/coats! I have a whole bunch in different colors. At one point, our coat rack fell over, because I had so many stacked on it! :hilarious:

Yeah, my DS use to have a toppling coat rack in his room. Lands End coats have some pretty good insulation. This one is a moderate coat meaning you should be comfy until it falls below 20 degrees. I have a plaid one from many years ago that goes to zero, it too is very thin. This coat can be zipped up to just below the chin if you wish, that helps me. This one was cute and I was swayed by being able to travel with it. I actually like that some airports now will check your coat until you return from your trip.

Me too.

Although I'm strange. I get the regular size in the top, but then need the petite size for the bottoms.

You are not alone my dear. I could do the petite in both but it is a matter of 'coverage.' Those Nuns pounded that into our heads from the time we were young girls without 'any.' At my age and often travelling with my kids I'm looking for cute swimwear to wear to the waterpark, nothing more (nothing less would be more accurate lol)

Yes it has but that is the beauty of trucks, they move easily in and out of events. I've seen them roll in for NYE into the WS area along with port a potties into Epcot and roll 'em out. Me if I were the Empress of the Osborne Lights planning I'd be rolling Herb out for 2 months. Not like the studio's are packed with attractions that another spot nearby couldn't be used.

Yeah, I'd move it out too. But Disney wouldn't because then they would lose the revenue. I took this picture when it was closed for the night, but it had a long line of people buying refreshments most of the night.

We had dinner at the Brown Derby Lounge (sorry for the dark pictures)
Mango daiquiri for hubby and a mojito for me

We could see a little of the Osborne lights from our table

We made a huge mistake eating at the Brown Derby lounge.....we shared the sliders. We really should have gotten our own helping. The duck confit slider was really good, we even liked the coleslaw on it. The other slider was a Wagyu beef with bacon.

We shared the charcuterie board and we weren't sure what everything was but it was really delicious.

I still love their Nativity set. I really hope that lands somewhere else.

Pictures cannot describe how large this art and craft show was at a sports stadium my DD and I went to this weekend. Two levels. Some of the Art-Crafts, high end section were amazing, out of my price point but so talented.

Me, too! That and the special glasses that make the lights look like snowflakes. Very cool. :)

Years ago they had those glasses for sale for Illuminations. Yes I bought them for my kids. They looked hilarious. Very Star War-ish and of course much too big for their tiny heads especially when looking up at the sky. I found them recently in our basement.

I'm back to watching my corny Hallmark Christmas movies. I have noticed that many of them are set in San Fransico for some reason. (Most have bought stock footage of the Golden Gate Bridge in bulk.) And I'm seeing a lot of the same actors in them over and over...and a lot of them are Canadian actors interestingly. Nevertheless, they do have a way of sucking me in. Watching Christmas at Cartwrights right now.
economics, its all economics.

Reminds me how a lot of animation companies are pretty much "sub contracting" animators from Canada to do the "bulk" animation jobs to reduce costs.
