I was thinking that there might be a problem with recording the professor with him knowing too. I would suggest telling the professor that the recording is going to happen. @StarWarsGirl95 could always just say she wants to listen to it later, which wouldn't be a fib, and then record a few class periods.

Be careful with recording. We tried to record a teacher in high school who was like that and not only did the recording not work well, but the principal was not happy with us for doing that because of privacy and yada yada.

I did double check. Recording is allowed because it constitutes a study tool, but for personal use only. So as long as I don't go out distributing it, I should be good.

Like I said, there might be a problem in high school, but this is college, and when I'm trying to tell someone that we have a serious problem, I need evidence.

Drifted off into a bit of a Rudy's coma after my last post.
Brisket, chopped beef, sausage, and turkey, with creamed corn and potato salad as sides. No ribs or beans, this time.
Haven't done that in a while since we're eatin' healthier lately. Sooooo darn good though...!!!
Back to nuts and berries tomorrow...

I'd say be careful or at least run it past your Dad first. Personal use I believe is just you. Once you share it with someone it might be consider distribution not personal use.

I didn't ride in a taxi until I was 24, and it was pretty excited about it too. Kind of lame to be excited about it, but I always get excited when I do new things.

That is my fear. Selectively sharing and playing it for someone other than yourself. Take a look at your student ethics policy. If you record for other purpose other than personal use ie to nail the professor it could be an ethics violation would could get you expelled. Did your deans request a recording or did they ask you to verbally talk to other students? Big Difference. Your Dad could likely look at the legal side of the policies of using recording for this purpose.

Good morning all. I'm pretty tired today, I got sad news yesterday, my brother's first wife passed away yesterday, Not expected. I liked her a lot, she was fun to be around, and the nice big sister to me. Even though, she remarried it's hard to think she is gone.

I think you are missing my point. Personal use is just that you and you only. Share it with a dean you could very likely be violating policy of personal use by broadcasting the tape to another person if that is a dean, classmate, etc. If they choose the word personal in the policy you best get a clarification from someone first on the meaning of the word personal use.

I'm sorry. We shared. The winds have not stopped either but the sun did come out. Starting tomorrow night they are calling for anywhere between 4-11 inches of snow by Saturday morning. Makes me want to import @MinnieM123 for shoveling duty.
