I was thinking that there might be a problem with recording the professor with him knowing too. I would suggest telling the professor that the recording is going to happen. @StarWarsGirl95 could always just say she wants to listen to it later, which wouldn't be a fib, and then record a few class periods.
I did double check. Recording is allowed because it constitutes a study tool, but for personal use only. So as long as I don't go out distributing it, I should be good.Be careful with recording. We tried to record a teacher in high school who was like that and not only did the recording not work well, but the principal was not happy with us for doing that because of privacy and yada yada.
Like I said, there might be a problem in high school, but this is college, and when I'm trying to tell someone that we have a serious problem, I need evidence.
