I'm at 89 days now, also "free" studio (at Saratoga) and plane ticket, with DVC points and frequent flyer miles.

Just need to pay for park tickets and food. I thought about getting an annual pass, but I don't know if I'll make it back again within a year. It's very tempting, though, considering it's only an additional $168.
We will be accessing annual pass when ours expire. If the kids don't want to return, then I'm out. I do love cruising, too!

@MOXOMUMD , do you get many trick or treaters at your house on Halloween? I'm thinking there may be even more this year, because Halloween falls on a Saturday. I bought about 9 bags and I think that's probably enough. Some years I actually throw out bags at the end, because I don't like it sitting around tempting me. (Sometimes, I'll bring a few bags into work and share with the gang, too. :) ) It's just hard to predict how many kids come by; seems to be different every year. I think only one year we actually ran out of candy.
We don't get trick or treaters because I live on the outskirts of town and my house sits way back from the road and up a hill. (I have a good walk to the mailbox!) I hand out candy at my mom's who lives in town and my daughter goes out with my niece.

You're arriving the day that I'm leaving. 78 days for me.

I remember we had over 150 one year, my back killed me from getting up and down so much. Maybe, I just should stand at the door. Whoops, then my feet would be killing me. ha We bought over 1,200 suckers and hundreds of chips this year, as Halloween is over the week-end. We have people driving to our neighborhood and letting out dozens of kids. I guess word gets around that we have a safe neighborhood. We have seen several police go up and down our street during Halloween. I can't blame the parents for looking for a safe place to trick or treat!

That's how our old neighborhood was - most of the people came from other neighborhoods, as they'd heard our area gave out great candy and had a few haunted mazes to walk through. Luckily it never got crazy or super busy and it's fun for the kids.

I love seeing the little ones, and the big ones. The costumes today are amazing. Some people put so much thought into the costumes. We wore for years a big, really big sweat shirt with paper stuffing to look like pumpkins, we put the eyes and nose and mouth on in black felt, and I made a green topper for my head. It worked so well, as some years we didn't need so much stuffing. ;):joyfull: I forgot the sweatshirts were bright orange!

Darn! And I'll be leaving just as Betty's arriving. It's like a domino effect. This thread will have a nice stream of pics during those weeks. :D
So sorry to hear this. It seems we are all missing each other, just by days!
That's okay. We have so many people meeting up with us this trip that a meet up would not be in the cards anyway. For a few days, we will have a party of 10. And guess who is doing all of the planning for the party of 10? (hint: it is not my dad) Trying to get the Disney accounts linked was infuriating.

Registered for classes. Didn't get one section that I wanted because it said it is restricted to fashion majors.o_O Why an international marketing class is restricted to fashion majors is beyond me. I signed up for a marketing elective for now that is at the same time. I'll probably call the registrar's office tomorrow and see if that section will open up to other majors at a later date.

Now it is nap time..

My poor DD does this every trip with us and them and GKids. She still loves it though. I keep telling her, when it gets to much we will do our own. She says Disney "is her world". I guess so as she has made it her "career for right now". She said she will be moving on after the kids leave for college. We will probably be moving on too! (as in age);):jawdrop::joyfull:
