Being home for just at 3 months from our last WDW vacation and staring down 6.5 months till we go back is rough. Thank goodness for this place and trip reports!

Wow...nice. My starting salary as a teacher in Wyo was 21,000 plus a one time signing bonus of 1500. Not much.

It's pitiful what teachers are paid in this country. I don't know why parents around here keeping voting down tax increases for school. That's the best future investment we can make. JMHO

I met a former member of this site (not from this thread or the WITWIBS thraed) shortly after I joined because we were at EP on the same day. Let's just say the person was "odd", to put it politely, and I only felt comfortable enough to use my screen name and an ADR excuse to leave after fifteen minutes. I never posted anything to them after that and a few months later they left the site after arguing with another member. Anywho, even though we are all wdwmagic members, you have to be careful and comfortable with whom you want to meet.

Definitely! It took me YEARS to build up relationships with the people I've met. And most of those people were from pre-facebook era. I don't add people to my FB who I don't know, anyway. I'm so sorry you had a bad experience!

I might do that. I came into the library and discovered that my favorite napping couch was not in fact taken. So I have set up camp here. I just have to be up by 3:30 so I can register for classes and make sure I get all of the spots I want.

During my first semester, I had this once a week freshman seminar at 8 am and then didn't have another class until noon. Guess what I did from 8:50 until 10:30 or so?

I'm going back in 96 days, free room, free airlines. Only food, as we have annual passes. So glad that hubby saved his points all the years of being on the road, with work. Only problem, this is the last of them. Guess, I have to start saving, out of grocery money. There goes my margarita's.

I'm at 89 days now, also "free" studio (at Saratoga) and plane ticket, with DVC points and frequent flyer miles.

Just need to pay for park tickets and food. I thought about getting an annual pass, but I don't know if I'll make it back again within a year. It's very tempting, though, considering it's only an additional $168.
