Yum, yum, yum!! Hey, whatever happened to fondue anyway? It used to be very popular years ago and somewhat fell out of style, I guess--except for Madison. Maybe Madison will revive the trend, and it will become popular again. (If not, I just might have to move there . . . :p)

I used to love it years ago, and I often would "lose" the piece of bread (or whatever) on the little fork when I dipped it into the hot cheese pot! Ha ha ha . . . I was a bit of a fondue failure, but it was still fun!!
I pictured you as more of a chocolate fondue person

I understand , why does weight go on so easily and so hard to lose? I'm still good for the bike, I rode 2 hours yesterday, while watching the cooking shows on PBS create, that @figmentfan423 mentioned. I wish now, I had recorded the shows, lots of good tips and ideas for vegetarian, or more veggies .
I'm glad you enjoyed them. Many of those shows have the recipes of their sites. Happy cooking:joyfull:

Hey, do any of you know each other outside of this forum? Have any of you met? Or are you friends on other forums or on social media? I have friends on various forums and eventually all of us found our ways to other mediums and I was curious if that was the case here or not. I'm guessing there are rules about posting personal information.
I met @MouseDreaming when we were both in MK on the same day.

I guess it's probably an individual choice about how much people get together or whatever beyond the forums. I'm very happy with this forum, but have limited time each day to read and post. Really can't devote more time than what I do to the forums here. I'm not on Facebook or anything else either.
I'm not on facebook, don't follow twitter or any other social media either.

So yesterday, I finally watched the DVD I bought 3 weeks ago, of Cinderella. Thought the first half of the movie was boring. The second half was considerably better. But to me, the "stars" of the movie were the exquisite gold coach and the gorgeous blue gown that Cinderella wore to the prince's ball. Overall, I give the movie about a 70%, C rating.

I'm partial to the coach, because I saw it in person back in May at DHS. (Originally, the coach was only supposed to be at DHS through March, but luckily, the time was extended.) Let me tell you, that coach up close is spectacular. It was one of the most gorgeous, detailed, movie props I've ever seen.

I regret to say I joined facebook in college. Facebok was ivy league only before it turned college only for us. Then it was everybody. I only keep facebook to stay in touch and to keep family I guess? Though it is funny to see all the drama facebook causes and to see to pictures on how different people look from high school.

Wait...you mean spaghetti squash, right? I would imagine it would be hard to shred a butternut.

(Sorry if you were just kidding and I missed the joke.)
It was what happened, he brought home butternut squash. Instead of spaghetti. I'm not familiar with squash, Mom never cooked it. That was the hardest thing I've ever tried to cut and peel. Are all squash's that hard?

I went Kohl's today. Kohl's is getting boring to me though. They definitely up the prices just to put them on 'sale'.

I told myself I have enough heavy winter clothes and I was just getting light winter/fall/spring clothes. And what did I get? A heavy sweatshirt among two other things. Supposedly it was full price of $80 and after a 20% coupon and being marked down. I got it for $32.

The hardest season to shop for me is summer. Half of my summer clothes are wicked old (at least 10 years which is a lot for clothes). I want new shirts but I never like anything. Stores currently have no good summer clothes on clearance.
I hate today's "fashions", if you can call them that. Way to many prints. I do like the plaids coming in though.

Actually, this is the one week I can do it without too much trouble. I have a Spanish presentation tomorrow. First up. The benefit is that I won't have any more Spanish homework until next Wednesday, and Spanish is my only class on Wednesdays. Plus at this point, I don't have work that morning. Probably the only thing I would do at home is come home and watch TV. So I might go, even though I'm exhausted.

Hand is okay. I played piano a little yesterday. The cat bit me and knocked open an incision yesterday (I can tell she felt bad about it as she gave me this look like, "I didn't mean to!", ran away, and hasn't tried to play since) so I have a small bandaid on the top of my hand now. I'm not too concerned, but am keeping an eye on it. Other than that, I'm still having trouble moving my index finger, I think because the swelling is still there and I still have a numb spot there. But getting there. Still being smart and trying not to use it too much other than typing, piano, and stretching.
Sorry about the kitty. I am glad your hand is improving.
