I recall this scene from World of Motion. The paragraph below I found in the site, "Lost Epcot" World of Motion:'

Sunday Drives & Airplanes We then see "our newest tradition - the Sunday drive. Now we quickly get away from it all to the beautiful carefree countryside." People are seen out in the country. Projections of automobile joy riders along with biplanes in the sky are seen. A patrol officer on a motorcycle is seen hiding behind a billboard.

Bingo!

Today I saw Aladdin on Broadway. It was by far the most spectacular play I've ever seen. Everything was perfect: the songs, the acting, the effects, the costumes, THE GENIE. The Genie is amazing in every way. Not to mention that Jonathan Freeman himself plays the role of Jafar! I also briefly visited the Disney store in Times Square but didn't get anything.

In addition I visited Nintendo World and got some cool Splatoon stuff. I may go to one more place tonight, but we probably won't have time until tomorrow.

That sounds amazing. I would kill to see Aladdin on Broadway.

As a teacher, I'm curious what is the average salary of a teacher where you are?

Different provinces pay differently but, the average starting wages for teachers in Canada is around $50,000 plus there is two and a half months of paid summer vacation and another two weeks at Christmas and one week for March Break. There are also so many professional development days away from the classroom, the best medical insurance, employee assistance program, wonderful pension plans, etc. They have the best unions here that really protect the teachers.

Yum, yum, yum!! Hey, whatever happened to fondue anyway? It used to be very popular years ago and somewhat fell out of style, I guess--except for Madison. Maybe Madison will revive the trend, and it will become popular again. (If not, I just might have to move there . . . :p)

I used to love it years ago, and I often would "lose" the piece of bread (or whatever) on the little fork when I dipped it into the hot cheese pot! Ha ha ha . . . I was a bit of a fondue failure, but it was still fun!!

If you ever come to Chicago-DownTown the best fondue place I've ate is down there, (still love Melting Pot too)

It is called the Geja's Cafe. This place has been around since about the time I was born. Any restaurant that has that type of longevity is worth a trip to Chicago for.

Its hard during the week with all the school work you have. How is your hand doing?
Actually, this is the one week I can do it without too much trouble. I have a Spanish presentation tomorrow. First up. The benefit is that I won't have any more Spanish homework until next Wednesday, and Spanish is my only class on Wednesdays. Plus at this point, I don't have work that morning. Probably the only thing I would do at home is come home and watch TV. So I might go, even though I'm exhausted.

Hand is okay. I played piano a little yesterday. The cat bit me and knocked open an incision yesterday (I can tell she felt bad about it as she gave me this look like, "I didn't mean to!", ran away, and hasn't tried to play since) so I have a small bandaid on the top of my hand now. I'm not too concerned, but am keeping an eye on it. Other than that, I'm still having trouble moving my index finger, I think because the swelling is still there and I still have a numb spot there. But getting there. Still being smart and trying not to use it too much other than typing, piano, and stretching.

Glad it is getting better or at least moving towards that.

Yep, Walt always knows when his teeth do something he wasn't intending.

Our local farmers market closes on the last Saturday of October. The one in the next town over has a small building and two outdoor shelters and runs until the Saturday before Christmas. The closer to the holidays it becomes a big bake sale/craft show but it's within walking distance of the university so they are always busy. My mom shopped yesterday and bought us a giant bag of fresh kettle corn. :hungry:

Awe nice Mom. I am always so envious of my Sis's Market in Cleveland. So amazing. My Farmers market closes the last Saturday in October, this year reasons unknown, closed last Saturday. In a couple weeks will head to Central IL, hopefully there will be a bit more still left down there.
