From the Disney Food Blog so you can see them better:

They were better than the pizza this last visit. They are called Zeppole. Italy’s answer to doughnuts, these light and airy fried bites are made with a rich dough that includes Ricotta Cheese. They’re so delish dipped into the rich Chocolate Sauce and Whipped Cream served on the side.
That's still a yes please. (So much better than mushy cauliflower. :( )

Really happy to hear all that. I was a little concerned lately because you weren't quite so active on the forum here, and I was thinking that maybe you were missing your daughter at home. You've mentioned before how close the two of you are. But now that I know you're both in daily contact regardless of her move, that's comforting to hear. :)
Awe thanks. I see her everyday sometimes just briefly but like when she was in college thank goodness for unlimited texting. Neither of us are telephone people.

Hubby and I feel the same way. We go to Disney because it's familiar . We don't have to find new things. And we know almost every inch of the World. It's comforting to return to something we know. We did traveling when younger, but I don't have the incentive to change. I'm sure showing my age in this respect. It's like Cheers, we like to be back "home".
Do they say "Bets!" when you walk in the door?

When my brother was little, he would get seizures as the result of a fever. One time, my dad and I were on Test Track and came out to a bunch of first aid workers and a stretcher. He had a seizure in front of Test Track. Freaked out a bunch of guests. Since my mom knew what it was, she knew how to handle it. I think she took my brother to urgent care after that and left me and my dad in the park. But first aid was ready to call 911. Which is what my mom did the first time he had a seizure, but after that, we would usually just wait it out and get him checked out later. He hasn't had another seizure since about age 5.
I'm actually surprised they didn't call 911. Like with DS I didn't know until they got there.

That's still a yes please. (So much better than mushy cauliflower. :( )

I love cauliflower raw, (though my tummy doesn't like it so much as I age) I enjoy cooked cauliflower that has been seasoned. Now mushy is just disgusting. Same goes for mushy broccoli and mushy squash.

So let me tell you how my morning went. I woke up and wasn't feeling well. I started walking to my bathroom, got lightheaded and fell catching my the bottom side of my chin on a table corner. :bawling: I snapped awake with hands covered in blood and my daughter calling my mom. Long gross story short, I didn't need stitches but my chin was covered in scab powder, butterflied and bandaged. :( I'm supposed to talk as little as possible, no kissing :joyfull: and no solid food and use a straw for three days. :grumpy: I'm really craving a burger and my tomato soup with soggy crackers isn't cutting it.

UGH!!! I can't believe you fell inside again. I think you need to stay outdoors from now on!! ;) (Every time you've fallen, it's been indoors!)

Kidding aside, this is really awful, and I'm so sorry to hear that you fell and hurt yourself. If you weren't feeling well before the accident, I wonder if you might have had a touch of vertigo, which would make you a bit light-headed and off balance. I hope you can rest and get better very soon. I was so relieved to hear that your wonderful daughter called for help, and didn't panic. That's the trait of a very mature child. Thank God she was there when you had your accident.

Meanwhile, no solid food, no kissing?? :jawdrop:, and only a little talking for the next few days? That's no fun. Maybe go park yourself on the livingroom sofa and watch tv. May I also suggest at NAP??!!

Cauliflower mash can taste like mashed potatoes, if prepared correctly. :hungry:

I'm having some steamed cauliflower with cheese (so I can mush it) and mashed potatoes for dinner.

How about (not together, but some ideas): cottage cheese, finely ground up, very mini bits of beef in tomato sauce (the sauce would soften the cooked, ground beef even more) and eat that with your mashed potatoes, peanut butter (small amounts--careful if not on a little piece of soft bread with it and something to drink with that), ice cream, frozen yogurt, regular yogurt, scrambled eggs, egg salad with some little pieces of soft bread, any kind of smoothie in a blender, any kind of pudding, Jello, and seedless jam or jelly on soft pieces of bread. Those are just a few ideas. :)
