Listening to the Canadian National Anthem in French just proves to myself how rusty my French has become over the decades.

Mine too, I had 4 years and I don't remember much of anything.

I didn't like much hard candy either. I did like butterscotch discs, smarties, and sweetarts.

I forgot about butterscotch hard candy, it was the only hard candy I would eat. Still, I liked chocolate candy so much better.

I don't mind seeing nurse practitioners. The only follow up calls I've ever gotten have been from nurse practitioners, I always think it is a nice touch to get a follow up call. It gives me the impression that they care about my health, that gives me the warm fuzzies.

The only follow up call I've ever had was after surgery.

It runs 24 hours a day, the luggage delivery doesn't but you weren't checking your bags if I remember correctly. We had to catch them at 3 a.m. on one trip because we had a 6 a.m. flight.

I've got to check those out this year. I can't believe it, but I saw Christmas candy along with the Halloween Candy at Stein Mart.

I got a flu shot twice in recent memory. Once working at a drug store and one volunteering in a hospital.

The year I missed my flu shot, I got the flu at Disney, not a fun vacation, or trip home on the plane. We haven't missed our shots since.

Agree. Anytime any group of any type becomes overly controlling or overbearing something or someone cracks. I think that is why most people tend to be moderates on most topics. I watched 17 kids and counting a few times and while some found it fun I actually was unnerved by the reality show and after a few times that was it. No all the revelations of the family issues didn't surprise me, disgust yes surprised nope.

I watched that show only once, they seemed pretty much off the wall to me. Wasn't a fan.

I'm getting a real kick out this Pope. I missed the selfies, I would have enjoyed that.

He has pretty well tossed out all the old and ancient thought processes of follow orders don't think don't question obey. I hope he sticks around long enough to address the glass ceiling the church has for women. I can remember not long before he became Pope the commercials and marketing slogans of Catholics Come Home. It did nothing to bring the mass exodus of parishioners that had fled back. With this Pope it would have likely been more successful.

I often wonder while chuckling if the Priests that elected this Pope at the papal conclave have had those moments of Oh No, what did we do. I'm just so impressed with all the turn of events that are happening with him. He is great with kids as you said and all sorts of people, now governmental people you can tell he doesn't have that same comfort zone and that he likely doesn't care for all that.

It has all been so pleasant to watch.

I love his genuineness with the people. He truly looks like a happy person, and at peace .

Happy farm market Saturday. Not only is it farm market day but I have to take my ds for a haircut as he has to look extra good for the dance. I'm taking Monday off and I don't care what needs to get done. I need a day!

best price vs size.

the holiday inn was almost twice the cost..and the hyatt place was full and more expensive too.

I love that they have finished the walkway over to Disney Springs. Will make crossing the street much easier!

in other news.. guess who cant sleep? we just had a serious storm.. hurricane winds for 2 hours.
Damaged quite a few houses. One of my cousins got his home severely damaged. not a fun day :/
the worse is.. the damage was right in the center of his apartment (the ceiling fell down)

Sympathy like. I hope things get fixed quickly. Homes in Colorado after the big floods in 2013, are still trying to get fixed. Sorry for your cousin, I hope he wasn't injured.

Because I got it pretty early in the season my senior year of high school and was sick basically the entire year. So I get one as early as possible and then get another once the first wears off so that I am covered for the entire season.

How in heck can they think peanut butter is savory?? I think it has a moderate to sweet taste (depending upon the brand, or if it's just pure, ground peanut butter). It's one of my absolutely favorite foods (even without chocolate)!!

Count me in. I love peanut butter pie, and peanut butter on toast for breakfast.

A favourite of our used to be home-made beef burger with peanut butter and jam(jelly) .
low carb sucked that one out of our lives

I like orange marmalade on my burgers and mustard!
