I only like peanut m&m's.What about M&Ms?
I thought about doing just that, but I have no complaints about my current Doctor. It's the staff around him. I've asked everyone I know if they like their current level of care. So far, I haven't found anyone that is satisfied with their Doctor. Mostly we don't have but one Doctor at each clinic, you usually see a nurse practicioner. You know, a lot has been said about the "bad" service at the V.A., but, not only have I found that to be not true, it is almost mind boggling how much better it has been since I stopped going to the high priced regular medical community. I had the same Doctor for over twenty years. He missed so many things and screwed up the ones he didn't miss. I have skin issues because he prescribed a steroid to use on a problem area which made the skin look like a crumpled newspaper. My blood pressure was somewhat under control, but, never low. After I went to the V.A., after the first visit, they changed my medication and since then it has stayed at 120/70 consistently. They diagnosed my COPD and gave me something that keeps everything working smoothly, something that the old Doctor never even considered. When I have gone I have been treated like a King, and they have been far more thorough then anyone ever suggested before. When needing a blood test, I have yet to even feel the needle going in. Sometimes the wait is a little longer then I would like, especially if I get there on a particularly busy day, but, it certainly isn't worth complaining about.
I was really worried about turning over my health care to them after hearing all the comments, but, I currently feel more confident in their hands then I think I ever had in the world of regular medical care.
I know that isn't helping your cause Betty Rose, but, if you are unhappy with it, it might be worth looking around for a new provider. Sometimes just because we are familiar with our caregiver it doesn't translate into the best available care.
Me too! That's cool.
That's why I got the Premium membership. It's has eliminated all the problems I was having. Plus, I was getting a lot more viruses too. Now, hubby doesn't have to clean the computer every night!Yes, Betty Rose and a number of us on the forums are having issues with the ads. This evening I haven't had a problem, but the past two days, it was really bad. I don't know what the offending ad or ads were, but it was ridiculous. (Last night I had to close out the program 4 times, due to the ads (script issues) freezing up my computer.)
I don't get to eat candy, almost all of it has lactose in it. If I want candy (it has to be chocolate) I make it myself.I think I'll move to his little island and then hop across the channel to England. And stuffing your mouth with candy can be everyday (not that I do that because then I would weigh millions of pounds). To be honest I don't really eat candy. If I bought a small bag of peanut butter cups, they would be gone within ten minutes.
Same here. I like Three Musketeers, Heath/Skor bars and Paydays too. My favorite candy are Caramel Cremes. My answers above - apparently I eat a lot of candy.
I don't like any hard candy. Never did as a kid either.I should have said rarely eat candy.
My coworkers asked what candy do I like. And they went down a small list.
Snickers....no
Milky Ways....no
Butter Fingers...no
Nestle Crunch....no
Baby Ruth....no
Hard candy (as in those weird peppermint ones and stuff)...no
When I did eat candy, as a kid....I loved M & M's. Plain or peanut. And Brach's bridge mix.Same here. I like Three Musketeers, Heath/Skor bars and Paydays too. My favorite candy are Caramel Cremes.![]()
Thanks for the tips. I was very cold in the Doctor's office yesterday. I wore a jacket, but I was just cold. I drink a lot of water, to avoid kidney stones...so I think I'm covered there.Ugh, that sounds like a terrible trip to the doctor. I hope next week goes better. Maybe you should bring a bell with you so if they forget about you, just start ringing the bell!
Oh and as for the blood draw. I have difficulties with that sometimes. I was told to drink a lot of water and sometimes that helps. Heat sometimes helps the veins pop too, so if they can't get into the veins ask for heat to be applied.
That's some strong restraint! I've been known to eat one before we've left the store's parking lot.I have a new bag of Reese's Pumpkin shaped ones sitting on my Dining Room table. Have resisted opening the bag....once it is opened the voices of the pumpkins start calling.
Is that for sale? I love this shirt! I don't drink wine, but it's so cute.
The Doctor is good at drawing blood, so I will see him next week. He thought I had enough pokes for one day.Did you even see the Doc and communicate your human pin cushion story? They can send you to outpatient care at the hospital and have a Phlebotomy person draw your blood. These people are also great at putting in an IV too. I had my vein collapse with an IV by an inept RN while in labor with my DD. Never had anyone have an issue with my veins. They sent a phlebotomy person in, no problems first try. The collapsed vein hurt for weeks and over road my labor pains. Not fun.
Oh, I wish I could. I love anything with chocolate. My answers above - apparently I eat a lot of candy.
I'm doing the same thing right now. I'm mainly looking up the food booth's and see what they have to offer. I make a list, so I don't miss anything I want to try. DD does plan the ride itinerary .I miss obsessively going over and over my Disney itinerary for weeks before the trip.![]()
I love Halloween too. It makes me so happy to see the little kids all dressed up in their costumes!Yea I like Halloween. That is except for the 2 years when it was bitter cold and my boys wanted to go out!
Didn't realize that was a possibility. Everyone is always so helpful on here. Thanks @figmentfan423. xoxoI'm so sorry to hear that. Have you considered getting a script for the blood draw and going to an independent lab?
