I've been out of commission helping my partner through a total knee replacement. Hasn't been easy for either one of us.
At any rate...wanted to stop in and wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving surrounded by lots of great food, and the people you love.

I've been out of commission helping my partner through a total knee replacement. Hasn't been easy for either one of us.

I feel you pain. My DH had total reconstructive knee surgery several years ago. It was not our finest Thanksgiving or Christmas. It is very stressful taking care of them. Be well and best to the new knee!

I had knee surgery about 5 years ago. I lived alone and was alone for most of the recovery time. There were days when everything was very challenging.

My MIL had total knee replacement at 88 years old. She did a week of rehab in the hospital and went back to her condo alone. I think it has much to do with the talents of these surgeons.

A long time friend of my DD and a team mate throughout her swimming career was cast as an extra in the TV series Chicago Fire and wound up with a cameo part instead. Pretty cool for her.

Wow! There's nothing plain about that! What a funny name for such a loaded with yummy toppings, potato!!

They also have one on the menu here called the "Pollo Mexicano".
Grilled chicken, cheddar cheese, sour cream, butter, pico de gallo, and Southwest spices.
Darn tasty...!

Although I'm not outside (I could be - it's 66 degrees), I am drinking beer in a t-shirt...!

I'm inside, drinking a Sprite though, in a t-shirt too. It is 68 degrees because my furnace is going.

But I usually watch it in Spanish, so now I'm watching it in English on TV, and it sounds weird.

I made a butternut squash soup last thanksgiving. This year, southwestern corn chowder.

So I got a mini spinach and broccoli souffle for tomorrow hope it's good.

I LOVES me some dark chocolate, and, apparently, that's one of the biggest culprits in the shortage...!

I wonder if it's a shortage of cacao?

Something tells me these signs are not foreign to you. I personally love beer signs and particularly Hamm ' s beer neon signs where the waterfalls are so cool as they flow.

If I absolutely, positively, at gunpoint, HAD to choose between the two, I'd honestly have to go with "coffee".
But, since the actual likelihood of that choice EVER, EVER, having to be made in real life, is probably pretty close to zero, I'll take both...!
