When the property right next to ours was still undeveloped, the guy who owned it kept cattle, horses and goats on it. The kiddos sure had some fun feeding times...!

Coffee Beer is one my son adores. It is expensive, $12 for 4 cans.
Well Dear Friend, at least we can agree about soup if not our adult beverage choices.
Although I'm not a regular coffee drinker (and,

Look at the size of that potato in comparison to the knife and cup.
Plain Jane: Jumbo baked potato, layer of sour cream, lots of crumbled,fresh bacon, real cheddar cheese and some diced chive. Slurp!
Jason's, down here, used to have a BBQ brisket potato, called the "Podnah", that looked a lot like this...
And yes, all the size of a football...!!!
Sadly, it is no longer on the menu.
We have one that won't eat an apple - but loves pears! One of the other ones loves zucchini!And a bag of apples?

Due to the holiday tomorrow, my boss let me out early from work. We're in the middle of snow and sleet right now. The bus had pretty good traction, but my sneakers left a bit to be desired. Still, I made it safely home, despite the fact that I forgot to wear my boots today!

Well you can't just leave the tale off there!
Ha, ha . . . I was about 17 at the time, and sound asleep. I think it was around 2 AM, and a drunk driver managed to steer his car off the street and into the front of our house! Everyone woke up and ran downstairs except for me; I was sleeping nicely, thank you. (Oddly enough, the car didn't do as much structural damage as you'd expect. The loud impact was probably worse than the extent of the hit.)
Finally, one of my brothers came upstairs, and told me I had to come downstairs and see what was going on, so I reluctantly did. Cops arrived after a while, cuffed the driver (who remarkably, was not injured, just inebriated), and a tow truck towed the car away. Then, I went back to sleep!
