Yup. Guy hit me when I was waiting to turn, got out of his car, said "Oh there's no damage" and I told him I wanted his information anyway. We had to get out of the flow of traffic, but instead of pulling over, he fled. Had to call 911, and since I was in pain, the officer called a medic, who told me that the ER was recommended.

I can't win lately.

Did you get his license plate number?

Still at the emergency room. They want to x-ray my back. Had a ct scan of my head and neck. Have a mild concussion, no school tomorrow. Apparently, I also have mild degeneration and a slight bulging disc in my neck, but they're not sure it's related to this accident. My mom says my father and paternal grandmother both have neck problems, so it could be genetic. Probably will need PT after this (again).

I wish I were on a beach someplace now...

Sympathy like. Hope you're feeling better tomorrow. Maybe it's a good thing that you get to rest? Obviously the reason isn't good, but who couldn't use a nice rest anyway? (Sorry...trying to find the silver lining that may or may not be there)

I'm glad I finally got a phone with a camera, if I'm ever involved in an accident I hope I remember to get a pic of the license plate. Before the phone I always kept a disposable camera in the glove compartment. That's a lesson from the lawyer in my family.

The guy who took my information at the ER told me he got a dashcam due to the amount of idiots in the area. Not surprising. The other day, I was out with my friend near my other school, and we were going from the mall to the movies and only planned to take one car to save on parking. She offered to drive, but I told her since she wasn't used to driving in that area (she lives an hour away) that it was better for me to drive. She kind of grinned at me and said, "This is your way of tactfully telling me I'm a bad driver." Well, yes, she's a horrible driver (I told her this more nicely) but the drivers in that area are also terrible, as I illustrated twice in a ten minute period while driving over there when I used my horn once and had to slam on the brakes another time. And then today I texted her and said, "Remember what I said about the horrible drivers near me?" I never used my horn until I started going to my other school and driving there on a regular basis.

Does your friend think she's a good driver? My ex-bf from college was the WORST driver and he thought he was so great. My brother and my friends all refused to get in a car with him. He was cross-eyed and I don't know how he even managed to get a regular license as he had no depth perception because he could only use one eye at a time. He'd start turning left when there was a car coming, thinking he had plenty of space. He also had no peripherals, so he would miss things like one way signs. Awful.

Yeah there were always many on my dessert plate. Betting there is a thread back a ways devoted to Cape May discontinuing the Oreo BonBons. At one point Beach Club marketplace still had the bon bons in their carry out section. I wasn't there on my last trip so I don't know if they still do. @StarWarsGirl95 might. If they do you could have an amazing pot roast open face sandwich at Beaches & Cream and pick up dessert on the way out if it is all still available.

The last time I was this prepared for winter was the year we hardly had any! The boys had a few Friday's off because we didn't use any snow days! A girl can hope!

I did not see the Oreo bonbons, but Beach Club Marketplace changes their menu so frequently that it's hard to say.

Well, I also found a blog from April of this year I think it was...and it was raving about the oreo bon bons at Cape May Cafe. Is it possible that enough people complained that they brought them back?

She knows she's bad, but I don't think she realizes how bad she is. She evidently failed her driving test three times. She always offers to drive, and I always say no. She's so super sweet, but has no driving ability. The amount of dents in her car tells it all.

I don't know. My experience is that they tend to rotate the desserts.

That really was the year with no winter. I'm not saying we didn't get a few cold snaps but we didn't use any snow days and most of the winter was spent layering a few heavy sweats. My heavy winter coat was never worn.
