Thinking some of you may feel this way Friday morning. Turkey hangover.

My mom makes a carrot casserole dish for Turkey Day and I don't even eat that and I love carrots. Difference is I hate cooked veggies.

I made a butternut squash soup last thanksgiving. This year, southwestern corn chowder.

Sliced summer squash dipped in egg then flour and then lightly browned in oil in a skillet and a pinch of salt.

The senselessness of it all has upset many of us.

I still need to go to the store. My family got most of the food, but I just need to get veggie pot pies for me at Trader Joe's or something yummy like that. I am open to suggestions about other yummy vegetarian things you guys have tried.

Although, I'm not a vegetarian, I do like a lot of the stuff from MorningStar farms, and, especially, Amy's.

I will be with her tomorrow to make a "watch" row.
hopefully she will be discharged from the hospital and keep treatment at home.

I honestly think it was a combination of bad food poisoning (my mother thinks the same) and weakened immune system (she as been working way too much plus taking care of 7 puppies that were born 2 weeks or so ago!)

I gotta hunch you're getting into heaven quicker than me, once we croak. It took me quite a while to see what you saw in the shape of the sun rays. (I better start paying more attention when I got to church on Sundays . . . )

Anyway, right when I looked at the image, I saw the raised and outstretched arms, robe/tunic, etc..
That kinda' stuff doesn't usually hit me like that...

Oh this is dreadful!! Why couldn't it have been a shortage of brussel sprouts, or lima beans, or peas instead of chocolate?!
