Thanks it was a little chilly in my house today (and yesterday) so the socks were on. I typically don't wear socks in the summer if I don't have to as I wear them all winter! Although since our hardwood floors were recently redone and now smoother I have had fun "skating" in my socks on them.:)
I used to do that , back in the day. Today I'm trying not to fall down. ;)

Today, hubby and I drove up to Maine to go see an intertribal pow wow of some Maine tribes and some Canadian tribes. We had a great time watching the dancers, drummers and singers. I loved watching a "fancy dancer" Native American; his regalia was spectacular. Hubby got a few pix of him with his phone camera. The vendors were also very nice and I bought a pretty red leather necklace with a silver attachment. All the jewelry was handmade and was reasonably priced as well. It was a really nice atmosphere of people.

After the pow wow, we went to a country farm stand nearby, and I bought a bunch of fresh veggies and some blueberry flavored milk! YUM!! :hungry:

Wow! Sounds like a really fun day! Hopefully you can post some of the pics your hubby took. I think a Pow Wow would be fun to watch. Some of the tribes in my area have some in the fall but I haven't ever gone. I'm glad you had a fun day!

So,....no trash talking allowed! Got it!
Unless, of course, your name is @PUSH.

I used to do that , back in the day. Today I'm trying not to fall down. ;)
It's real fun until you get a hardwood splinter spiral up into your heal from trying to spin around. Take my word for this it went in there a whole lot easier then it came out. Sort of like a baby, now that I think about it.

@betty rose I've never made them as I don't care for them, and pickling spice is one of those things I can't get over here. But if you like, I can look up the recipe and post it here for you. You may have to remind me and my mommy brain is kind of like swiss cheese. But if you remind me, I WILL eventually get to it. I do remember they were rather sweet.

Hee-hee, I always blame memory loss on mommy brain, too! :joyfull:

That's lousey, and I understand your frustration. I STILL have to close out the forum completely a few times, mostly every time I log in. It's the script in some of the ads that is so annoying and freezing up my computer. I asked for assistance, and that can't be fixed, apparently, as whatever ads support this site are here to stay. This never happened in the past. So, sometimes I can deal with it and other times when I have to close out of the site because of the script, I just don't bother to log back in.

I feel bad that I never have any of these problems. Maybe cuz I'm on a Mac?

We like AoA, the kids find lots to eat there.

Yep, we really enjoyed AoA when we stayed there in the Cars section family suites in July of '12 with a party of 13, and my 60% CM discount...! :)
Unfortunately, not only was there a CM discount blackout when we went back in June of '13, but, the price had gone up too.
We ended up staying at ASMusic instead, with my 60% CM discount. :)
The Nemo and Cars sections were the only ones that were open when we were there.
We were very impressed with the resort...! :)
