to be honest we haven't had a bad tour yet.we have done Marceline to MK,Keys to the Kingdom,Backstage magic,Behind the seeds as well as several at seaworld.

It is a very difficult place to predict weather. When we first moved out here we were surprised to see rain falling in the front yard, and not in the back. Up in the mountains, we saw a cylinder of rain pouring down, in the middle of the street, out of one little cloud. How do you predict that?

Good morning, all. We are warming to the mid 80's today. Yea. We had an earthquake in southern Colorado 4.1. We didn't feel it. It just gets stranger and stranger.

I heard on the news this morning, that EPA, may have done this on purpose, to get more government clean up funding. Currently investigating.

Congrats! Your wife is indeed a special person. She got hired so quickly, good for both of you. So happy for you!OK, so I didn't want to mention this 'til I knew it was really real, and we've gotten our hopes up too many times since November. But, the mortgage company DWifey has now been temping for on a 90 day temp-to-hire deal, bought out her contract and hired her as a permanent employee after only a month-ish...with, no joke, a 25% raise...!!!!!!!

Good morning @betty rose, so far so good. It's going to rain on and off all day and I've got a house full of boys. Movies, video games and lots of food. My dh was going to get a 4 day weekend for Labor day but he was just asked to work the Friday. 3 day weekends are nice but he becomes a ......... on the 4th day so I'm happy! 1 day with just me and my dog will be so nice! Not to mention a few extra dollars to put aside for the trip. We're going to blow the money on an extra tour. Things are sure strange out your way! Earthquake? That's just weird and something I expect to hear from @catmom46

You sound like you are having the last week of fun before the kids go off to school. Enjoy every minute of it. Hubby and I had an adjustment period right after he retired. He was so used to telling employees (in his idea, helping employees), how to do things more efficient. He drove me crazy until, I told him, he wasn't my employer.

With all the snow days we didn't get out until very late in June and with all the rain it seems rather short. We didn't get as much pool time as we like.

Nope, the rattlesnakes are definitely there. But, they tend to stay away from people, so just don't go wandering in the dunes.
As a matter of fact, this candy store has always had a live rattlesnake on display inside the store in a glass case...
