We were on the highway (no exits anywhere near in rural-ish central Illinois. Both sides had separate tornadoes going. Far enough not to hear but close enough to experience some of the secondary weather. It was pitch black mid day, like wearing sunglasses at night dark. The rain was so intense. My DD was in her library basement, we had just left her a half hour before. The tornado hit south of her jumped over her University which is huge and plopped right down again just north of the University. I have been blessed not to have been in the direct path of one. One of our members here and on this thread at times @akayw0718 was on the road too for that storm going between her parents and her new home. Her folks house was hit.
I hope everybody is ok! Stay safe with all that crazy weather! xoxo

My boys enjoyed the red velvet breakfast cake I made this am. I wondering if I should tell them about all the veggies I snuck into it

Yup, I remember when we lived in No Cal back in the day, it seemed like about every 6 months or so some scientist was predicting "The big one" and our half of Cali. would be sliding off into the Pacific. ;)
I still wonder why they say that.
Shouldn't it just split and drift like like a giant island. Just like baja is doing?
After all, the movement of that area is sideways, not up and down like the Cocos plaque, the Japan main fault or the Cascadian fault.

I know, it's fabulous to see "serious" actors being so silly! :D
I bet you loved all Leslie Nielsen movies. So good!

Check the AP credit policies of the schools he plans to attend. Some of them accept certain AP scores while others do not. The only two I would stay away from are Government and World History. Government you would only need for specific majors and it's a very hard test, and the history courses in college are much easier than AP World.
Last year was AP English, Calc B/C and Physics, which is now divided in 1 and 2. Next year is AP Stats and AP physics Calc based. The English I am actually worried about. The work load for that one class almost killed him last year, so he is taking a comp class and Speech instead. There are no Honors classes available for English after Sophmore year. He may very well be going from complex analysis to a primer on how to write a sentence. If it is, that kid is going to be bored.

That's odd. Why no Honors classes after sophomore year?

We "blessed" people get that kind of question all the time. We have been instructed by a much higher authority to refer all such questions to headquarters. I believe it has an 800 number which you will have to ask information about. (I forgot to write it down, probably during one of those headaches) It would be considered a long, long, long, long distance call otherwise.
Ahhh, I understand @Goofyernmost. What does that say about me? I will be following you and my other mentor @MR FERRET for ever. I bow to the great Gods of the internet.
