Hey gang! Sorry we have so caught upon touring I haven't popped on here. Paris was wonderful, Disneyland Paris was fun (I love my American parks way more), and now we are in London. Only a couple more days and back to reality! Hope all is well with you! I'll tell you more about it with pictures when I get home.
Glad you're having fun. Looking forward to pics. :)

I always thought these Bugs were cute but they scared me. I lost an uncle in one. Head on collision. The other car everyone else walked away and he was DOA. With nothing up front in the original version they just collapsed. Sad.

Yes, unfortunately it was an extremely unsafe car - I was definitely lucky to never get into an accident in it, especially given the way I drove back then.

One of the other great parts of Aulani has to be the food now. They openned a new QS location since I've been here called Ulu Café. And they have specials every day. Their soups change every day, and every day that I've had them, they've been delicious. One day, they had a loaded baked potato soup. It was fantastic. Another day, they had a tortilla soup, which to me tasted a lot like MD crab soup, only with chicken instead of crab meat. That was also great. Yesterday it was chicken noodle soup. My stomach was iffy last night, and I saw what their soup of the day was (which ended up being dinner), I practically jumped for joy. And even with my stomach being weird, it was great. I had it+a baked potato (which we had in our room) and that was dinner. Today, I just finished a portugese bean soup. I wondered whether I would like it, but it was so good that if we end up eating in again tonight, I might go get some more.

And then they also have a hot sandwich special. Today, it's shrimp tacos. My mother will be all over those. Yesterday, it was Chipotle bbq chicken wraps. They also have a hot plate special. Yesterday it was meatloaf, which actually sounded good. Today, it's a thin cut steak. My brother will most likely want that. And then they also have premade sandwiches and salads. I haven't had fried food in days becausw I've basically been eating the soups with a salad or sandwich. So good. :hungry: And not the only place to get food, but at least you're not stuck with hot dogs, burgers, fries, etc.
THNX for bringing back some really good memories. My friends and I used to go to DC a few times a year and we almost always stopped in Baltimore for crabs and beer ( me wine never a beer fan and one designated driver) we also checked out the light houses, subs, aquarium and shopping in the Inner Harbor. Such a fun city! We even took the Homicide Life on the Street Tour (hope that was the name of the TV show it was like the Soprano's tour)

Well, it still must have been nice to go outside of the resort and eat a few meals elsewhere as well. Right now, you and @StarWarsGirl95 are both making me hungry and my options don't sound nearly as tasty as what is being served in Ulu cafe!!! :( (Then again . . . I do have some ice cream in the freezer calling me name . . .) :D
I have kale in the fridge:D

We did Ama Ama. Since we've done a lot of dinners in, we could justify it. I had a filet and onion soup. :hungry: Ama Ama is the first and only place where I've found mashed potatoes thaf I've liked. I usually only eat them if they're from a box. I liked Makaliki, though Cape May in WDW is better. We'll probably go across the street once our stomachs are all better.
Please don't eat the box stuff it isn't real food! If you must read the ingredient list with your allergies it's a must. xoxo

She was trapped inside my mom's bed frame and was stuck there for some 36 hours or so until we found her and got her out! Shoo! That was a close one! Now, I'm just resting. The only thing I have left to do now is pack my shirts. I'll do that at the last minute. My dad wants to take me to the airport at 4:30am and have breakfast there before seeing me off. I'll have plenty of time on the plane to rest.

Also, this morning, I had a very interesting two hour conversation with my pharmacist who is from Lebanon. He is all supportive of my trip. He used to live in the area of Lebanon in the south where Israel once had its "Security Zone" (now under the control of Hezbollah). He's a very nice person with very moderate political opinions concerning his nation's southern neighbor. Maybe one day there will be relations between the two nations...

Hopefully my next post will be from NJ.
Safe travels and enjoy your time in Joisey! xoxo

Sympathy like.
We used to love KFC, but, it has all just been consistent crap around here in the last few years. Run city.
And, whoever came up with the idea of that little troll-like turd of an actor playing the Colonel in the recent commercials needs to have their head squashed. Just how, exactly, does making the founder of the company appear as a complete and total imp give credibility to the brand...?! I just don't get it.
Fortunately, we have much better places for fried chicken and fixins' around here.
I'm glad I'm not the only one upset with those awful commercials. ANNOYING to the max!
