Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
I'm originally from the New Orleans area. I grew up on the Westbank and moved to Mississippi in 2005. Until recently we were living in Picayune which was about an hour away from New Orleans. Unfortunately we just moved further east closer to Mobile.

I haven't had the Dill flavored. I guess I'll have to give them a try.
Yes you definately have to give them a try! DH loves them! Also the sweet creole onion flavor is good as well. We actually had those believe it or not in DC for the first time and did not find them down here (Lafayette, LA) until about a year or so later!! Crazy that DC had them a while before we got them in the state they are made! Lol. :)

Works out well for your daughter if she decides to go to college. Lots of scholarships out there for those of Native American descent (and since she's 1/4, that should be enough).
Mom made us deny our link to the Blackfoot, we lived in a very bigoted community. During the 40's and 50's. I graduated in the 60's, wasn't much of an issue then. But, Mom looked out for us kids. Poor daddy :arghh:, I know it hurt him. Such is life.

Yikes.

My family has never denied it. They are proud to have those roots. And my grandmother was older than you! (she died several years ago).

And they say us old people are not keeping up with technology. I know many much younger people that are afraid to use the internet for stuff like that. So far, knock on wood, I have really not had any problem at all. Heck, I still know some that are 15 to 20 years younger then myself, that still go to the bank and get their stash of cash for the week. Seems like a huge waste of energy to me.

My rent is my only automatic withdrawal. The rest is done on line, but, I make the decision when it is going to happen. I also want to see the numbers before they just fly out of my account. I'm a little **** (I think they want me to say, up tight) about it as well. I keep every receipt from using my CC or my DC. I match it against bank withdrawals and charges on my online statement. Those balances I check pretty much daily, but, not less then two days apart.

I like writing out checks for the bills and mailing them. I also like going to the bank for cash, although I use the ATM for that.

However . . . I have been known to also go inside the bank on a Saturday morning, and do a (smaller) cash withdrawal (for my weekly moolah) with one of the tellers; because inside the bank on a side table, they have lollipops! (Dum Dums! O.k. I'm waiting for the silly comments here . . . ;) ) I always grab either a cherry one or a grape one. :joyfull: (Sometimes, I've been known to grab 2, when I think they're not really watching me . . . :hilarious: )
