in other news.. I got some therapy for my leg.
including a hot water massage with a 1 HP machine (like those used in sports).
It was ok at first then It DID HURT :/
It ends I have my muscles very inflamated and probably with fluids. Then I had a session of ultrasound.
gotta do simple exercises and go again on friday.

The fruits and veggie building was pretty cool too adjacent to the market building. For $10 we walked away with a medium sized watermelon, 3 huge honeydew melons and 12 ears of corn, oh and 4 pints of strawberries.

While we were buying fruit some dude got down on one knee and asked a young lady to marry him. Cheers throughout for the yes. I soooo wanted to know the backstory to the location.

It's no Cinderella Castle proposal, but, she said YES!!! :)

Annoying indeed.
I wore 3 different types of casts over a period of 4 mos. when I broke my calcaneus at age 13. :in pain:
Yep, time, and the fact that you're still young helps...us old folks tend to take a bit longer to heal...! ;) :)
Yup, I am at the right age for this to happen recovery-wise.

If a kid were to have this injury, they would put him/her in a cast so that they can't move it. Teens and adults they use a splint usually. So no cast. But still young enough that doctor thinks as long as it's not completely torn,
At least your nails are pretty. :D
Thanks. :D To cover up the fact that I have really big hands, I pretty much wear polish all the time so my nails at least look pretty.

Not even a little tired?
Oh, I'm exhausted, but at the same time, I feel like going for a run. And i don't run. I suspect, and have for a long time, that I inherited my grandmother's restless leg syndrome.

I laid here for about two hours before I got up and started cleaning. Then, I went downstairs and had the cat on my lap. Now I feel more relaxed. Might have to go get her in order to fall asleep.

Try that! Now go and lay down, close your eyes and think of Disney. Turns off light and absolute quiet follow..... shhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Thanks for asking Minnie.

I'm on the mend. I took my brace off to eat dinner (so I won't get food on it, I put it flat on the table next to me, sometimes ice it during dinner) and noticed there was less swelling that the bump had gotten a bit smaller, so it's healing, but it's going to take a while. I'm going to be in the splint for the Hawaii trip the entire time except while swimming (but if I come out of the water for any extended period of time, the splint goes on.

I can type for short periods on my tablet, then I have to take a break. It hurts after a while. Not sure why since it's my thumb that's injured, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

FYI, this is the state of my arm for the next 3-4 weeks (at least).

Yikes, that's quite a contraption on your arm. I didn't realize the extent of it. Glad to hear, however, that the swelling is going down. Sorry you have to deal with it during your Hawaii vacation.

By the way, cool nail polish! :)
