Not to make you feel bad, but, some of the men that come in there have very thick hair as well... same price!

I'm thinking it is more of a type of demand thing. Men, who spend a lot of time on their hair and are concerned with every hair being in place usually go to Salons like women do. They pay the long price. Most men don't care about what their hair looks like as long as it is trimmed and easy to care for. Thus, less picky less cost. As @JenniferS so cleverly wrote... the difference between a good hair cut and a bad is about three weeks. Or something like that...

My DS is very picky about his hair and had been going to the same place forever. Still goes when home. $25. I go and have my hair cut there, $65, his takes longer than mine to cut.

At the MK $5 for simple haircut down beneath the earth for CMs. My DS heads to the Grand Floridian or Coronado where they get a 50% discount. They can't be scheduled they have to go on appointment available, but if you tip well they tend to fit ya in. His girlfriend is like me, long hair pretty simple cut, double the cost of his.

I'm gonna' go out on a limb here and say @MinnieM123 would pick the winter side, too...! :D ;) :)

I laughed when I read your comment, because after reading about singing Christmas carols on the "winter" side, I was thinking I'd LOVE that!! :joyfull: Plus, what a nice break from the heat down there now--I could pretend it was winter, even though the temperature now in the WDW area is probably 92!!! :jawdrop: :p

Update: I just saw the great pictures you posted! I've got to go there next time!!

D23 Expo/Disneyland update: I've worked everything out with my schedule now and I'm free to go. I'll try to get expo tickets tomorrow when I have more time (I have to go to work in a few minutes :(). Now my Mom and little sister might also go. They'll just go to Disneyland and not the expo. My Mom wants to take my little sister to Disneyland, and since I'm already paying for the hotel she thinks the'll tag along.

Yea! This is so exciting!! I've never known anyone who has attended D23 out in California, and I'm happy to know that you'll be able to share your impressions with us.

It's also nice that your mom and sister may accompany you, and enjoy Disneyland, while you're attending various sessions of D23.

My hairdresser adds $3 because my hair is so long. (Down to my butt.) It costs a whopping grand total $15 for a haircut.

Wow! My hair is short by comparison, been decades since it has been that long. Mine mid--back.

I'll never forget my DD at about 8 years old, walking up to me at my desk wanting to approach me about cutting her hair, it too was down to her tushie, beautiful, straight and medium blonde, so shiny because of all the chlorine.
She started to speak and burst into tears.

She wanted a foot cut off her hair. She had never said anything before. Gave her a big hug, told her to wait 2 weeks and if she still wanted it gone that was fine, she didn't have to have real long hair. 2 weeks to the day we had it cut to just below her shoulders where it remains today. Two long braids from that first haircut were donated to

So today we went to Blizzard Beach then went to the miniature golf place right next door. It was overcast and threatening to rain so the coffees we had were a nice accompaniment. The miniature golf place was quite charming, I highly recommend it if you are at Blizzard Beach.
I love both miniature golf places. We try to do this every other year. It's lots of fun.:D
