Not quite. In my dad's final years as a foreman before his retirement, one of the people that worked under him was one of my younger brother's high school classmates. My younger brother told my dad and my younger brother has the old high school year book to prove it.Nothing makes you feel older than a co-worker saying you remind her of her Dad.

If it makes you feel better, when I was first working, one of my favorite coworkers was a guy a bit older than my parents. I learned a lot from him, but we also sometimes barely got anything done because of the relentless bantering. I found out one day he didn't like IASW, and after that, I found random places to leave references to IASW in during the workday. Like leaving a work related note on his desk and then having small world lyrics at the end.
