Oh! So that’s what they are talking about
Yes young Padawan. It used to be called Captain's Grille. And Steakhouse 71 was previously called the Wave. Dinosaur's original name was Countdown to Extinction. And many moons ago, Port Orleans was called Dixie Landings.

We don't always realize that those people that impressed us the most still grow old and die. It just seems unfair. She had a soothing, captivating voice that no other has equaled. First time ever I saw you face and Killing me softly were two of the finest pieces of music ever recorded. RIP Roberta!

Ah, but did you actually stay at Port Orleans Riverside when it was called Dixie Landings? I did.
Of course, I was four
And now I feel old
But not as old as the ferret

First time I stayed there was hurricane Irma in 2017 the dreary atmosphere created by the hurricane helped it feel more immersive in a weird way

I only was down in Florida once during a Hurricane. It was 2003 during Charlie and we were at Wilderness Lodge*. And then when I was a year younger than you are now, we got stuck because of Hurricane Irene hitting Maryland. It was nice and sunny in Epcot that day. Good times.
Obviously you would not have been alive yet and once again, I feel old.

I'm going to let everyone in on a secret. I remain on this site for the simple reason that those that start moaning about being old in their late 20's, 30's, 40's and beyond can see that I am still snarky and able to use a keyboard at my age. The best part is that even when I post stuff it isn't always crazy talk. Most of the time, sure, but not always.

Yea, the pups here just make me chuckle at their decrepit states at 30-ish or even younger. The whining on their way towards their 40’s and beyond, as long as I’m still around for that, will be absolutely hilarious…!!!!!!! :joyfull: :hilarious:
