@MinnieM123 is this you
No snow here. Weather app says 1-3 down in the city on Tuesday evening and 3-5 up by me. And then change over to rain at some point on Wednesday into Thursday.It's changed back to snow. The boys are going to have to head out at sunrise to remove the carp or it will turn into a solid block of ice![]()
I hope I don't have to take her. I'm dealing with a medical issue, so I can't really lift anything. She's 18 pounds, so I can't carry her in a carrier. She'd have to go on the harness, which she hates and I don't really like doing with her, but it is what it is...Poor Jasmine was super constipated last night. I suspected because it was the second night in a row she didn't want her dinner. She did take dry food. I'm probably going to temporary switch her to all dry to get her to eat and leave an extra water bowl in my room.
I did get her to pass some gas yesterday (I know where to press up by their tail from years and years of having Belle, though I used to be able to get Belle to go right away by doing that, so she must be pretty backed up). Gotta see if she's gone at all today. I'll call the vet tomorrow if she still hasn't gone by then. We already tried the canned pumpkin thing and it didn't work. Good thing is her nose is still wet and she's not dehydrated.

I ordered her another harness (also another one for Ella because Ella is a bit too good at getting off her harness...I think maybe her current one is too big). So if she needs to go tomorrow, I can get her in the harness and call them to have them let me in the side so I don't have to lift her too much and I don't have to contain her in the waiting room. I mean, she's bigger than a lot of dogs, and they don't care about me bringing the cats in on a harness, but I'd rather not have to manage her.I hope I don't have to take her. Aww hope she goes potty soon. Raya woke up DD and SIL super early by gagging. They didn’t want her to barf in the bed. She didn’t. So far that’s all she did.Poor Jasmine was super constipated last night. I suspected because it was the second night in a row she didn't want her dinner. She did take dry food. Me too. I don't need the stress or expense of a vet trip this week. So far she hasn't gone...I did the massage thingy, and she let me know it was hurting, but it must be helping because she didn't try to escape.Aww hope she goes potty soon. Ah yes, nothing gets you out of bed faster than the sound of an animal gagging...
Congratulations!Winter storm watch is officially in effect!
Edit: I just realized this is my 9,000th post.

And she finally went! Phew. Going to still watch her and probably call the vet tomorrow for advice, but at least she went and I no longer have that anxiety. We'll see how long it takes her to want her wet food again.Me too. I don't need the stress or expense of a vet trip this week. Hope that cone comes off soon! Poor Daphne. Hugs to her!Daphne's stitches on her legs, from dew claw removal, still haven't fully disappeared so she still has to wear her cone. Her stitches from the spaying are gone though. I hope the one's on her legs disintegrate soon so she can have her cone off. Today was the last day for her antibiotic though so that is good, she did not like that at all and was quite the fighter on taking that.

She's currently got a thing of dry food sitting in my room. Normally I 100% do not let her do that, but she's just nibbling for now, so she can do what she wants until her appetite is back.
