I have not. Looks fun though!

He’s definitely more giraffe-like right now.

He’s lost a LOT of weight. At 6’ 8”, his current weight has dipped below 200 lbs … not by design. 🙁
As many times as I've been to WDW (a few, lol), didn't even know that this tour existed until I was flipping through the site looking for the Galaxy's Edge stuff. My AP discount worked on it, so worth it. I could spend all day watching the elephants.

Hope your DH is doing okay...though that obviously doesn't sound good.

I tried to book that one and the rhino one last week, but neither had availability. Let us know how it goes!

I've done both the elephant and rhino tour. Both were great but the rhino tour is better. We got close up to the rhinos backstage and we even got to pet the rhino, that was so cool. If you have a chance to book either do it, but try for the rhino one first. When I did the rhino tour they only did one tour a day, so if they still only do one a day that's why it is so hard to get.

E and I did this one in 2023. Honestly, we felt it was a bit disappointing. The guide knew a lot and there was a lot of information, but most of it was just given standing right there in AK before heading to the elephant enclosures. We didn't get to see any of the inside enclosures. It was just taking us to a different viewing point on the Savannah and he answered more questions, and then the tour was over. So it was basically like sitting through a lecture about elephants with a 10 minute opportunity to view them. The tour guide was obviously very passionate about it and loved his job, and I'm sure he gets much more access to the animals, but I was expecting more than a few minutes on the savannah. I thought we might get to see Nadirah, who was pregnant at the time. And I thought we might get to go backstage to see the elephants that WEREN'T on the savannah....maybe see them getting their baths, or a health check, or SOMETHING. But I swear I've read of other people here who got to see a lot more, so maybe it just depends on the day and the guide or something? I hope yours is more fun!

My son just face timed us he is in Gulf Breeze FL (panhandle) They have 4" of snow and it was coming down like a blizzard. My grandsons 7, 5 have never seen snow and they were having a ball. Powder snow so they can't make snowballs. Son was talking to the neighbor and he has lived there 30 yrs never seen snow in Gulf Breeze. Current temp 27 going down to 19. Here In coastal SC it's raining 34 degrees but supposed to change to snow through the night. I could do with some of that global warming about now

We did the tour almost every visit for over 10 years and the guide can make all the difference. Most were great 2 not so much
