I think that here in the lower, lower 48 we should have a different name for the seasons than the north.

Spring = Early Summer
Summer = Mid-Summer
Fall = Late Summer
Winter = Fall

See we do have four seasons down here and more like it actually is.

If I recall correctly, in Vermont there was:
(Size based on the length of the season.)

Spring/Mud Season

Summer

Fall

W I N T E R

Winter is that same size as Spring, Summer and Fall combined.
