No worries. The Lake filling up is a good thing. :) One of the few good things about these torrential rains, of late.
Most of Texas has been in a severe drought for several years now.
The highest point on that island/peninsula is 658 feet above mean sea level. The lake is considered "full" at (although it's gone well above this number many times) 681 feet above mean sea level. So, when the lake is full, the highest point on that island/peninsula is 23 feet below the surface of the water. :)
so, theres still room for filling?

I posted the same thing 3 times! I shouldn't even try at night here because the wifi is so bad but I can't stay away. I won't post more pictures until a morning because less people competing for wifi.

Good morning! and stay hydrated! For those of us on the east coast we're getting Disney weather al week! YEA! I love summer! cue Olaf

We are getting Disney weather too, unfortunately it is coming with horrid rains. We have had 2 major storms today and the third is about to hit. Lake Garage again. Oy. As of this afternoon our river still had not gone over. We shall see in the morning. So far blessed.

This was "Sometimes Island" near Mansfield Dam on Lake Travis, about 10 min. down the road from us, recently. Also referred to as "All-the-time Peninsula" in recent years...
