How does one wait in an exterior queue line with a 120 min wait with no shade? Many do it. When Star Tours reopened one day back in the day after a several month rehab, the queue line wait was 5 hours with the queue lines stretching to Streets of America.
My younger brother and I don't. The best way put it is back when Slinky dog had no shade for queue, we didn't do the ride as a result considering we went in late to August to a couple days after Labor Day. It is very hot that time of the year.

I did not go opening day but when the Frozen attraction opened I think in May approx 9 years ago at Epcot the wait time the first day was over 4 hours. Cast members were giving out free ice cream to the guests on line at times during that day.

You are partially correct, Frozen Ever After did open about 9 years ago, lines were long, and they did give out free ice cream in line. But it opened in late June, it opened on my husband's birthday. We were in Epcot that day and we saw lines of approximately 5 hours, it was crazy seeing the long lines. . My husband opted not to spend time on his birthday waiting in line for it, we did ride it a few days later though.

@Dead2009 Apparently Aaron Boone got ejected in today's game...for something a fan said in the stands.

When an Orioles fan thinks this is ridiculous, you know it's ridiculous.

Yeah I saw that earlier on. It's also hilarious how they have the fan on camera doing it, and the umpire still doubled down on why he did the ejection. Like he had to be shown that footage at some point.

Giving something out for free was not part of the June opening day plan for the Mouse but I would think to cool the tempers of the crowd giving out Mickey Bars was the right thing to do. I would say the guests who waited the longest was one NYE at Epcot when we visited. Families camped out to get viewing positions at the fence line of Future World and Worldshowcase around 1pm for the early and night fireworks show

I'm sure that the Hollywood actors from the movie from Tom Hanks, Keanu Reeves etc that visited DHS at that time had immediate back door access to enjoy the ride. Some may think sitting at the open air Grandstand at Lights Motor Action is hot but does not remotely compare to waiting ( standing ) in an outdoor queue for one hour or more with little to no shade in the summer which thousands do every day at all the parks.

Just got off of a meeting with my boss. I was talking about vacations, and I mentioned my Disney trip in September, and how September is a nice time to go, and that we used to go in August, but September is cooler.

My Alexa decided to pick that moment to chime in with "Yes, September is generally cooler than August in the United States..."

NO ONE ASKED YOU! 🤦‍♀️😂
