If one can work remotely one of the most ideal climates health wise to work in, minus the high COL is Orange County ( ie Corona Del Mar, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach ) CA. It is away from the congestion of LA County and Los Angeles. I enjoy visiting family that live a few blocks from the beach with no AC and heat when needed in their bungalow home. One of the most famous residents that used to live in the area was Kobe Bryant but he flew daily in his rented helicopter to downtown LA as opposed to 90 min 1 way commute during rush hour.

Orange County is great but is has plenty of congestion on the roads too. I was just there a couple days ago.

The Cherry Trees here are not supposed to bloom not till mid May to early June. The Cherry trees I am referring to are the ones in Door County. That is where a lot of cherry trees in Wisconsin are located.
Most of them here are obviously more down towards DC, but there's a spot in Baltimore where there's some. Baltimore has a Washington Monument (fun fact) surrounded by a bunch of historical buildings and cherry trees. It was super pretty yesterday; if I hadn't been driving, I would have gotten a picture.

In other news, last week I shelled out for a PS5. I'd been wanting one and finally bit the bullet. I bought one of the subscriptions that lets you download games to go with it. I found on there a Toy Story 2 game that I had for the PC growing up. I never actually beat that game; I got stuck on one of the boss levels.

I am pleased to say that I have finally beat the game. It only took me 20 something years...😂
get Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart.. worth it.
I bought it on PC after playing a bit on PS5.

When you retire every day is Saturday and if you live in the south every day after the first day of winter IS the first day of Spring. We have noticeable seasons, but they are far more subtle than they were up north of here. I'm pretty happy about both of those things.

Heading to the airport in less than 2 hours - visiting a friend in Orlando who is down from Jersey. Going to Disney Springs today because after I booked All-Star Music, I realized my AP is blocked out this week. 🤣

She goes home tomorrow morning; my flight isn’t until 9pm, so I have the better part of the day. I’m thinking of monorail resort hopping for meals, so I have Mears picking me up at the G. Flo. 😀

It’s been so warm down here, heading up in a cold snap, so my waterpark plan is out unless I just want to pay $50 to watch tourists be crazy! 😜

This is what I get for allowing Spotify to run wild

So the first time I heard that song, it was a cover. Also Spotify just kind of running wild. Anyway, I thought, what a nice song. Then it got to "I will send a fully armed batallion to remind you of my love" and I was like um, what? 😂 I later became familiar with Hamilton, obviously.
