50's in January is a heat wave. And Bostonians going to Maryland Though I have applied for jobs in DC.

I work for a company in Boston. That's where most of my coworkers are. I'm remote. They're weirded out by my weather. It's almost 50 here, which is a bit above average, but not totally abnormal.

I had a couple of interesting people on the train yesterday.

A kid had a fuzzy thing hanging from her backpack and was supposedly hitting the lady sitting down. The lady, instead of asking the kid to put it away, was reaching for the kids bag to put it away.

A lady was talking (loudly) to the conductor how the train was 20 minutes late and how it shouldn't happen in America. And how other countries are better. Which I totally agree but the conductor doesn't care.

So when I was on vacation last month, my Fitbit broke. I was not happy needless to say. Anyway, I wasn't feeling my phone vibrate, so while waiting for a new one, I had to turn on my ringer, which I was really not happy about. A while back, I set my ringtone to Twist and Shout by the Beetles. My 13 year old cousin heard it and goes "What kind of ringtone is that?" Obviously she was not around for the times when we all wanted cool ringtones.

My grandma got a kick out of the ringtone I have for my mom. It's a rapper going "Yo momma's callin' back...for no real reason but just to chat...she'll waste your minutes talking' bout the cat...about how Dad has gotten fat."

By 3 this afternoon, the area around me already got 3 inches of snow today and more is coming.

Areas west of where I live already got 10 inches of snows by 3 this afternoon.
