My body was on autopilot this morning as I got up thinking I'd be heading out to the farm market this morning
I'm going to console myself with the fact that today marks the first pantry/freezer raid big cooking day of the winter and the farm market will be open early next year. They'll only have eggs, cheese/dairy, meat and greenhouse(mostly greens/lettuce) and the new mushroom person will be there. It obviously will be cold as it'll be the last Saturday in March and I won't be getting much but the guys will be happy not having to deal with supermarket eggs. According to the guys organic free range supermarket eggs aren't as good as good as local farm eggs and getting to the egg person in winter is difficult as we're never in that area Anyhoo, I'm thinking about making fresh pasta with a mushroom sauce as a side for Easter as I'll be able to order the mushrooms online and can call ahead for my egg order

This year we got a new vendor who grows fancy mushrooms
The price per pound is a bit high but per volume the price isn't too bad as they're not as dense as regular mushrooms. I enjoy the subtle difference in tastes and textures they add to a dish. They do look a bit different but are quite delicious not their pics

Some would think putting up Dad's blow up Santa in a Sled with Reindeer is a lot of work. I am saying that do to amount of steps starting with having 8 milk crates connected to each other by using wire ties.
2nd step is use bungie cords to connect Styrofoam to milk crates. The 3rd step is put the blow up Santa in a sled with blow up reindeer top of the Styrofoam with it being hold down by more bungie cords.
All that steps is done due to the Decoration will be behind the small bushes my parents have in the front yard.

I am so jealous!! Have fun!!Saturday morning donuts here at the in-laws B&B in Galveston, before we head to the cruise port a little later for a week-long (non-Disney) cruise…Emmy wiped her face before I could get a pic, but, Audrey was proud of her face…!!!!!!!
