A funny related story....I accidently used shower gel as my shampoo today and shampoo as my shower gel. I realized as I was rinsing. It still worked out ok.
Well since we're all family I'll tell you. (Only my ex and mom know.) Right before I was pregnant I suffered optic neuritis and went blind in my right eye. The doc was unsure if my sight would come back but it did after three months. One of the main causes is MS, which runs in my family. So after a CT and MRI, they found I had two brain lesions. Not enough for a definite MS diagnosis though I still made trips to the MS clinic and learned a lot. One, take excellent care of my eyes and two, no rides where the G's or ride motion will rattle my brain. It took a long time for the lesions to heal and I'm not pressing my luck for them to come back. So there's a handful of rides I can't do at WDW but I'm okay with that.
345 am Oh my goodness. You and @MinnieM123 will be close friends at this rate.
That's such a good idea. I've seen kids going to school, with all kinds of clothes. Some I would call questionable. No one seems to say much out here.
Diamond Horseshoe is open this week so we thought we would eat here since it is usually closed when we are here. Just finishing up lunch now. Both DW and I got the pork sandwich. It was pretty tasty.
Oh, by the way, today is my birthday.

Our brand new $3,500 Miele coffee maker for the office was installed this afternoon.
Yes, $3,500. But, it didn't cost the company a thing, 'cause it was given to us by a distributor...!!!![]()

Note how they are dudetted up for Disneyland.
Yes! I loved the snow picture!!! WOO HOO!!! You see, the one thing I absolutely hated about my trip to WDW over the past few days was the darn HEAT! It wasn't too bad in the morning or after 7 PM. However, starting about 1:00 p.m. every day, the sun and temperature were brutal. I had to escape indoors every afternoon (for a few hours, and then go out again) so that I wouldn't pass out. When I just saw @MOXOMUMD 's lovely snow picture, I said "Ahhh . . . ". Also the temp. here at home today is around 68. Very nice!

I wish I knew where the old pictures were of my parents who went to WDW, back in the early days. I recall they went with 2 other couples, and I remember they were all dressed up. (Nothing fancy, just "daytime" skirts, blouses, regular shoes, no sneakers, and the ladies all were carrying these full-sized pocketbooks). The men wore pressed slacks, no jeans or shorts, and pressed, collared shirts, and regular shoes, no sneakers. Looking at the people walking by them in the photos, it seemed like everyone dressed up for WDW back then! Guess is was the same out in Disneyland.
I am glad, however, that some of these standards have been relaxed, because it's so darn HOT down there. This past week, I couldn't even tolerate the sun and heat in the afternoons. I'd retreat indoors for 3-4 hours every day, so that I wouldn't pass out. Yes, I drank a lot of water, but I just couldn't handle the extreme heat.
Thank you everyone for the kind anniversary wishes.
Just got in from dinner - pics to follow.
In case you haven't figured, Hubby and I are not the flowers/cards/love songs kind of couple.
We're the flowers just because/every day I love you/random mushy texts kind of people.
I wish you all the same deep, abiding love that we share.
And now we're off to Bro's to hook up his kegerator.

Sorry to hear about the film fiasco. I hope something turns out.
Agree. I found the bag check at WDW to be completely inconsistent. Some checkers would look for 3 seconds, some for maybe 8, and only one really checked every zippered compartment in my small bag (it has 7 sections). For the life of me, I couldn't figure it out.
However, I have read, though the years, that they have found some weapons which they confiscated. I don't think the intent of the guest(s) was intentionally dangerous or wrong (a person who normally carries a small firearm and is licensed and all), but I also can't imagine why a guest would just "assume" it's alright to bring in a weapon to a park, (unless they are law enforcement, only).
In conclusion, I'm somewhat conflicted about the whole bag check thing. I suppose maybe it's more of an insurance thing, where if they show they're at least trying to make things safer, they are more likely to be protected from law suits if something bad happened.
They are Turkey. Freakishly large turkeys, but turkeys none the less. They actually taste and look like ham because they use the same smoking (curing) process that is used to give you your Easter ham. That gives them a much longer shelf life and are less inclined to be bothered by the heat of the Florida sun, bacteria wise! I don't, off the top of my head, remember how that is done, but, I think it is a combination of salt and smoke preservation.
