Nana is pretty widespread these days but Pappy is much more southern. From up north all we ever heard is Gramma or Nana. For men it was Pop, Poppa or Granpa,Thank you so much…!!!
They are indeed beautiful and charming, and also very well-behaved, which makes for very pleasant times with them. It’s never fun to be with kids that are having meltdowns every few minutes…!!!!!
Emmy has Megan’s straight hair, Audrey has Daniel’s more curly hair, although much more so.
And, you are correct, Sir…I am one lucky man…!!!!!
I let Megan read your post today at Emmy’s birthday party, and she thought it was funny…!!!
She said to tell you yes she really likes doin’ the outfit thing, but, she also gets all those clothes at a discount, whether it’s at a thrift shop, a deal she finds online, etc. All the woman in my life are like that, they’re always finding deals (including our AKL stay ) like that…!!!
Also, Carolyn is known to them as Nana, and I’m Pappy…!!!
And yep, the base of that thing is pretty chewed up. I mean, how long would something that small take to refinish…?!
Anyway, thank you again for the kind words…!!!
When my youngest granddaughter was at that age she called me Gampa and that used to melt my heart. Now they all just call me Grandpa. Doesn't have that same emotional weight after they turn 21. At least they aren't just saying "Hey you" to get my attention.
