Your plans for 2025 sound very nice and exciting.
I do have at least couple 2024 plans in the works with one going to Door County. The other plan in 2024 is taking a ferry going across Lake Michigan to go from Wisconsin to Michigan.

The ferry is for going to Michigan for the first time ever and go to this Christmas shop in Michigan I wanted to go to for years:

This Christmas shop is known as the world's biggest Christmas shop and the shop itself is 7.35 acres.

Last year, I saw a show about this "Christmas wonderland" -- it's quite the place! It attracts busloads of people, and is a year-round destination for some. Wish I lived closer to there -- I'd definitely visit!

Me too. I'd work there just for the employee discount:angelic:

I saw pictures of it on the internet just now and it's obnoxiously huge. I like Christmas (hate the tacky decorations and people bugging you what you want for gifts) but sometimes simple is better.

It would be nice to see though but you would have to pay me to visit Michigan.

I forgot that I had taken one travel vacation photo so here it is. I can almost hear you marvel at the moment.View attachment 743725
Just quoted myself to discuss a personal revelation. While at Ben & Jerry's I had no problem with having a cone of Phish Food Ice Cream (my favorite B&J flavor) that cost me $6.75. That's not the revelation. Yesterday I was doing some grocery shopping because I had been gone for 10 days and had nothing in the apartment worth eating and while in the Ice Cream section I noticed that they sold pints of Phish Food for $4.98 and I thought to myself, that's to damn much money for a pint of Ice Cream. The revelation was that cost evaluation is directly connected to location and not to logic.

That's how I'm justifying a future vacation to Dubai . Round trip from East Coast USA is $790 in coach and business class is $6K. A few meals in coach , aisle seat , 10 mg Melatonin to zonk me out, and I wake up refreshed and recharge before arriving. I will bypass business class seat location and its perks and spend money on a 4 star hotel/resort which is about the the same price as a shoebox room at Disney's All Star Resort.
